Runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. Converting does not check stock: open the link and look.
How to use it
- Copy the cell. Paste the whole link from the spreadsheet row, even a long one with tracking text; the tool reads the item number and ignores the rest.
- Press Convert. Each item shows its platform, the original marketplace link first, then HooBuy and the other agents.
- Open before you pay. Every output link opens in a new tab. Check price and options on the agent's page.
- Keep the original. The marketplace address outlives any agent, so store it in the row. Our row tracker CSV has a column for it.
The original marketplace link is the one worth saving; agent links are wrappers.
What each link format means
People search "link to HooBuy" because a HooBuy spreadsheet row holds a marketplace link or another agent's link, and they want the HooBuy version. HooBuy's own address is the simple case: the platform number and the item ID, with nothing else. Other agents either carry the full marketplace address in a parameter or use their own numbers.

Direct marketplace links are read from Taobao and Tmall (the id parameter), Weidian (itemID) and 1688 (the offer number). The tool also tries double-encoded text. See the agent list for each agent's status label.
If a link carries a marketplace address or a platform word, it converts; if only a bare number, it cannot.
MuleBuy links and the "mulabay" search
Some visitors type "mulabay to HooBuy link", meaning MuleBuy, an agent we label Hold after site errors on 6, 12 and 26 October 2026 (see MuleBuy as a place to move a row). Its link format is not in our notes, so there is no MuleBuy-specific rule. The converter tries the generic patterns only, and says so when it fails. If it fails, open the MuleBuy page, find the Taobao or Weidian address in its details and paste that.
A MuleBuy row converts only if its link exposes the marketplace address or a platform word.
Why Taobao links on HooBuy ask for a login
We tested the format on 26 October 2026. A Weidian item opened at hoobuy.com/product/2/ID and showed the price, the "QC Photos" tab and a purchase window of 09:00 to 18:00 (UTC+8). A Taobao item at hoobuy.com/product/1/ID redirected to a login page while we were logged out. That is how we saw it behave, not a documented rule; log in, then reopen the link. The 1688 number (0) was not tested.
If a Taobao link sends you to login, sign in and reopen it before assuming the row is dead.
What the converter cannot tell you
HooBuy carries the Hold label on this site: its pages worked on 26 October 2026, but buyers reported stuck orders and unpaid refunds from June to September 2026, so pay per order. A converted link does not prove the item is in stock, the price is current or the seller still ships. Compare agents in HooBuy alternatives, and estimate the parcel in the shipping calculator. Converting rewrites an address; only opening the page tells you whether the item exists.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Which HooBuy number goes with which marketplace?
HooBuy's link is hoobuy.com/product/ followed by a platform number and the item ID: 1 for Taobao, 2 for Weidian and 0 for 1688. We opened a Weidian item through number 2 on 26 October 2026 and a Taobao item through number 1 reached a login page. We did not test number 0, so open a converted 1688 link yourself once before relying on it.
Does the converter work for MuleBuy links?
Only partly. MuleBuy's exact link format is not in our notes, so the converter reads MuleBuy links like any other unknown agent: it looks for a url= parameter holding an encoded marketplace address, or an id= number with a platform word such as weidian beside it. If the link has only an internal number, nothing can be recovered, and the tool says so instead of guessing.
Why does it say the platform is unknown when it found an item number?
Because an item number alone does not tell Taobao from Weidian or 1688; the same digits may be valid on more than one. The tool refuses to guess. Open the original link, or ask whoever shared the row which marketplace it came from, then paste the full marketplace address. A platform word in the link, such as platform=WEIDIAN or shop_type=weidian, is enough for it to continue.
Is it safe to paste my links into the converter?
The script runs inside your browser and makes no requests, so the links stay on your device and closing the tab clears them. The output links are plain addresses to other sites that open in a new tab, marked nofollow. Safety of an agent is a separate question: HooBuy carries our Hold label, and every output link goes to a site that takes your payment, so pay per order.
Will a converted link show that the item is still in stock?
No. The tool rewrites addresses; it never contacts the marketplace or the agent. A row from an old spreadsheet can point to a sold-out item, a deleted Weidian shop or a Taobao listing that now needs a login. Open two or three converted links before you pay for anything, and check the price and options on the agent's page, which can differ from the sheet.
What should I do with Oopbuy, which has no output link?
Paste the original marketplace link, the first line of each result, into Oopbuy's search box. Our notes contain no Oopbuy product-link format, so we build none rather than invent one. The same applies to any agent missing from the output, such as Superbuy or CSSBuy: use the original Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address in that agent's own search or paste field.
