Little recent feedback to judge PinguBuy by: what to test before moving a sheet row

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: Yes, a HooBuy row can be bought through PinguBuy, because the row is only a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item ID. PinguBuy's own site says it charges no service fee and stores goods for 90 days, and its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026. The catch is evidence: its Trustpilot page held 45 reviews, the newest from April 2026. HooBuy is on Hold, so pay per order and start small.

PinguBuy as a place to move a HooBuy row

A HooBuy spreadsheet row names a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item, and PinguBuy buys from the same marketplaces, so the same item can go through it. The open question is how little you can learn about PinguBuy before paying.

On 26 October 2026 PinguBuy's homepage opened normally and no closure report turned up, which earns it the Open label. HooBuy is on Hold: its site worked that day, but Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reviewers described paid orders sitting at "Purchased" from June to September 2026. The HooBuy status page has the dates.

PinguBuy can take the row; what it lacks is a recent public record, so keep the first order cheap.

A review page that went quiet in spring

On 5 October 2026 PinguBuy's Trustpilot page showed 3.6 from 45 reviews, the newest dated 4 April 2026. HooBuy's page, read on 26 October, showed 3.7 from 571 reviews, its newest five, from 27 July to 15 September, all one star.

PinguBuy has almost no recent evidence either way: no stuck-order reports, but no proof that orders arrived this summer. Our 5 October working table filed it under Hold for that reason.

Few recent reviews means untested, not unsafe; the first order is the test.

"Not published" means we found no figure on the agent's own pages. Line prices and payment handling must come from PinguBuy's calculator and checkout.

The headline terms match HooBuy's; the details that set your final price are still unknown.

Moving the row without inventing a link

HooBuy's format is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}, where 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao and 2 is Weidian. We opened a Weidian item that way on 26 October 2026. The address pattern PinguBuy uses is not in our notes, so do not invent one.

  1. Split the HooBuy link into its platform digit and its item ID.
  2. Load the item on its marketplace and confirm the product name and yuan price match what the row promised.
  3. Paste the marketplace address into PinguBuy's search box, signed in at an address you typed rather than clicked.
  4. Compare PinguBuy's price with the row before paying.

The HooBuy link converter covers the first two steps. Log both links in the move checklist.

Carry the marketplace and item ID over; let PinguBuy build its own page.

An example ¥95 row under each fee reading

HooBuy's own pages disagree on fees, so we show both readings for a ¥95 row, an example price, at HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.91 per €1.

Item price: ¥95.00 = €13.75 (US$15.73 at ¥6.04 per US$1)
HooBuy, "no service fee" reading: ¥95.00
HooBuy, 8% clause: ¥95.00 × 0.08 = ¥7.60, so ¥102.60 = €14.85
PinguBuy, no service fee per its site: ¥95.00 = €13.75

The gap is ¥7.60, about €1.10, before shipping. For reference, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21) for 1,000 g to Germany, read on 26 October 2026 for the DHL europe package-f1 line, weight only. PinguBuy's line prices are not in our notes, so set its calculator beside that figure. The clause is explained under HooBuy fees.

On one item the fee gap is small; shipping and order safety matter more.

What buyers in Germany, Italy, Brazil, the US and France check

We hold no PinguBuy rule specific to any country; import rules sit with customs. Germany, Italy and France charge import VAT from the first euro (19%, 22%, 20%), and since 1 July 2026 parcels up to €150 also carry a temporary €3 duty for each tariff category. Brazil needs your CPF tax ID, and its federal rate depends on Remessa Conforme certification. Details are on our Germany, Brazil and USA pages.

Expect the same import rules as at HooBuy; only the agent's line price and handling differ.

Stay at HooBuy or try PinguBuy

Goods already stored at HooBuy stay there. For unpaid rows, PinguBuy suits a buyer who wants a stated no-fee agent and accepts a thin record. Prefer not to open another account? The contact page shows how to send us the row, and the order is still paid per order. Better-documented options are on HooBuy alternatives, such as Oopbuy and MyCNBox; see the agents hub and the HooBuy spreadsheet home page.

Try PinguBuy with one cheap item and keep money out of any account.

What HooBuy buyers ask

How many QC photos does PinguBuy send compared with HooBuy?

PinguBuy's own site does not state a photo count in the pages we read on 6 October 2026. A third-party table from 5 October puts it at 3 to 5, which we could not confirm. HooBuy's help centre says it usually provides 3 standard photos, with detailed photos at ¥1 each. Ask PinguBuy's support for the free number before you order.

Why did an older table of ours label PinguBuy Hold when it now says Open?

Our 5 October working table marked PinguBuy Hold because its Trustpilot page was quiet: 45 reviews, the newest dated 4 April 2026. The current label list says Open, since nothing points to closure and its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026. Open is not an endorsement; it means a small first order is reasonable.

Does PinguBuy's no-service-fee line settle the cost question for a HooBuy buyer?

Partly. PinguBuy's site says no service fee, while HooBuy's own pages disagree: two articles say no fee and its registration agreement states 8% of goods and of shipping. PinguBuy's line prices, declaration fee and payment handling are not in our notes, so confirm the total in its calculator before you decide on cost alone.

Is it safe to leave stored items at HooBuy while I try PinguBuy?

We would not add to them. HooBuy's free storage runs 90 days from the Stored status, then unclaimed goods are treated as abandoned and destroyed. With HooBuy on Hold, ship or open a ticket for what is already in its warehouse, and put only new rows through PinguBuy, starting with one small order you can afford to lose.

What does PinguBuy's 2024 founding mean for a buyer in Germany?

It means a short record, not a bad one. PinguBuy's own site says it was founded in 2024. We hold no Germany-specific PinguBuy rule or price, so check the EU parcel duty and 19% German import VAT at checkout, not in a spreadsheet row, and keep the first order small.
