Can the same row be bought there?
Yes, because the row is only a marketplace item. HooBuy's link is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}, where 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao and 2 is Weidian, and we opened a Weidian item in that format on 26 October 2026. BBDBuy's own link format is not in our notes, so do not guess it: rebuild the original marketplace link from the ID and paste it into BBDBuy after logging in. BBDBuy states its fee in two tiers, which is easier to read than HooBuy's articles that disagree. What counts as "special" is the open point.
BBDBuy's fee wording is consistent but incomplete; HooBuy's is complete but contradicts itself.
Three special items, priced in euros
Suppose a haul has three items that BBDBuy classes as special, an assumption since we cannot tell which items qualify. At HooBuy's own rates of ¥6.04 per US$1 and ¥6.91 per €1:
Fee: 3 items x ¥10 = ¥30
In dollars and euros: 30 / 6.04 = $4.97; 30 / 6.91 = €4.34
Against an 8% clause on three ¥180 items: 3 x 180 = ¥540, and 8% = ¥43.20, or €6.25
The last line shows what HooBuy's registration-agreement clause would cost if it applied; its other articles say no service fee, so we cannot say which is charged. Read the fee line on each checkout before paying.
A flat ¥10 per special item is small, and it is easier to predict than a percentage.
What a buyer in France sees, and Germany and Italy too
HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥102.80 (€14.88 at its rate) for 1,000 g to France on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only; volumetric weight can bill more. BBDBuy's own line prices are not in our notes, so compare its estimator with that baseline. Import VAT applies from the first euro (France 20%, Germany 19%, Italy 22%), plus a flat €3 duty per tariff category on parcels up to €150 since July 2026. See HooBuy to France for the HooBuy side. What does BBDBuy mean by a special item with a ¥10 fee?
BBDBuy's own page, read 6 October 2026, lists zero fee on general platforms and a special ¥10 per item. Which platforms or item types count as special is not in our notes, so we cannot say whether your row qualifies. Ask support before paying, and look for the ¥10 on the order summary. Three special items would add ¥30, about €4.34 at HooBuy's rate.
Is BBDBuy's storage 90 days or 180?
Both, depending on what you do. Its own pages state 90 days of free storage with a maximum of 180, but the price and rules for the extra 90 days are not in our notes. HooBuy gives 90 free days and allows an extension of up to 6 months at ¥10 per Product ID per month. Ship inside 90 days at either.
Will BBDBuy give me more QC photos than HooBuy?
BBDBuy's own pages state 3 free photos, read 6 October 2026, where our 5 October third-party table said 3 to 5. HooBuy's help centre says it usually provides 3 standard photos, with detailed photos at ¥1 each, capped at 10 on the order form. The free count is therefore about the same; compare what extra photos cost at BBDBuy.
Why does a French buyer still pay tax after moving to BBDBuy?
Because import tax follows the destination, not the agent. Since July 2026 EU parcels up to €150 carry a flat €3 duty per tariff category, and import VAT of 20% in France applies from the first euro. BBDBuy's own tax handling is not in our notes, so check whether its line quotes include these charges before you pay.
