CSSBuy for a Brazil-bound HooBuy row

If your HooBuy planilha (Portuguese for spreadsheet) row points at a Chinese marketplace listing, CSSBuy may be able to buy it; its supported marketplaces are not in our notes. Our label for it is Open, but its fee pages conflict. On 26 October 2026 its homepage sat behind a bot check, so the page answered but gave us nothing readable; the terms below come from our 6 October reading.

A second agent is worth a look because of HooBuy's Hold label. Its pages worked on 26 October 2026, yet Brazilian complainants on Reclame Aqui say refunds on cancelled orders, Pix payments included, were not paid, and none of the 30 complaints filed between 1 April and 30 September 2026 got a HooBuy answer. The HooBuy status page has the dated evidence.

6% or 10%, on an order near the US$50 line

CSSBuy's Cost and Fees page says 6%. Its FAQ says 10% as standard and 8, 7 and 6% for VIP levels. A third-party guide on rep.tools, which earns agent affiliate commissions, also says about 6%. The example below uses a ¥300 order (an example price) and HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.04 per US$1, with HooBuy's estimator quote of ¥61.90 for 500 g on Br-standard-f standing in for shipping.

Plan for 10%; if the cart says 6%, that is $1.99 saved on this example.

The US$50 line covers the whole parcel

Forbes Brasil (4 September 2026) describes the rule in force since 12 May 2026: individuals pay 0% federal import tax up to US$50 when the platform is certified in Remessa Conforme; from US$50.01 to US$3,000 a certified platform means 60% less a US$30 deduction; an uncertified platform means 60% flat, even below US$50. The US$50 limit adds up product, freight and insurance, and state ICMS of 17% to 20% is charged on top. The Senate approved the measure on 3 September; see the Receita Federal site for where it stands now.

Our example reaches $59.92 before fees, so it sits above the line. We could not verify whether HooBuy or CSSBuy is on the certified list, and HooBuy's help article still describes the older 20% rule. Your CPF (Brazilian tax ID) must match your name on the order; HooBuy to Brazil has HooBuy's lines.

Add shipping before you judge whether a parcel is under US$50.

CSSBuy's photo prices, payment methods and link format are not in our notes. We will not guess them.

Storage costs ¥5 more a month at CSSBuy; fees are a coin toss between two pages.

Moving the row

1. Note HooBuy's marketplace code, the figure that follows product/ in its link.
2. Write the marketplace's own link around that item ID.
3. Hand it to CSSBuy's order tool and compare the price with the row.
4. Pay for that one order, then pay for the parcel when you submit it.

Which CSSBuy fee rate should I budget: 6% or 10%?

Budget 10% until your cart shows otherwise. CSSBuy's Cost and Fees page says 6%, and its FAQ says 10% as standard, with 8%, 7% and 6% for VIP levels; both were read on 6 October 2026. On a ¥300 example order that is ¥18 against ¥30, or $2.98 against $4.97 at HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.04 per dollar.

Does a CSSBuy order stay under Brazil's US$50 limit?

Rarely once shipping is added. Brazil's US$50 figure covers product, shipping and insurance together. An example ¥300 item is $49.67, and HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥61.90 ($10.25) for 500 g on Br-standard-f on 26 October 2026, which lifts the total to $59.92 before any agent fee. CSSBuy's own line prices are not in our notes.

Does the 0% import tax apply to CSSBuy parcels?

Only through a platform certified in Remessa Conforme, per Forbes Brasil on 4 September 2026: 0% federal tax up to US$50 on certified platforms, 60% with no deduction on uncertified ones even under US$50, and ICMS state tax in both cases. We could not verify whether CSSBuy or HooBuy is certified. Check the Receita Federal list before you pay, since that decides your tax.

How long does CSSBuy keep my items, and what comes after?

Its pages give 90 days of free storage and then 15 RMB per ID per month, read on 6 October 2026. HooBuy's help centre gives 90 days from the Stored status, then ¥10 per Product ID per month, offered only for items stored 60 to 90 days, up to six months. CSSBuy's extension is dearer by ¥5 a month.

Why could you not read CSSBuy on 26 October 2026?

The site returned a bot-check page to our headless browser, so it was up but its content was not readable. That is not evidence of a closure, but every figure here comes from our 6 October reading and a 5 October Trustpilot listing of 4.2 stars from 722 reviews. Re-check the fee pages.

Is CSSBuy a safer place than HooBuy for a Brazil order?

Not proven either way. HooBuy answered 0% of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from 1 April to 30 September 2026, and 21 were awaiting a reply. CSSBuy has a longer Trustpilot record at 4.2 from 722, but we found no Reclame Aqui reading for it. Pay per order and keep the first order small at either agent.
