Moving a HooBuy spreadsheet row to OrientDig: the link pattern, the fee wording and the storage clock

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: OrientDig can buy the same Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item as a HooBuy row. Its own pages state no handling fee on common platforms and 90 days of free storage, then ¥10 per 30 days. Its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026. A third-party converter shows a link built from the item ID plus a platform word. HooBuy is on Hold here, so pay per order and start small.

What OrientDig can take from a HooBuy sheet

OrientDig can take the same item, because a HooBuy row is only a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing wrapped in a hoobuy.com link. OrientDig is labelled Open on this site: its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026 and we found no credible closure report.

The reason to move is on the HooBuy status page. HooBuy's site and estimator worked on 26 October, but between June and September 2026 buyers on Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui described paid orders stuck at "Purchased" and refunds not arriving, and HooBuy answered none of the 30 Reclame Aqui complaints filed from 1 April to 30 September. We call that Hold: pay per order, keep the first order small. More choices are on the HooBuy alternatives page.

The item moves freely; the account, link and terms change.

HooBuy's format is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}, where 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao and 2 is Weidian. We opened a Weidian item that way on 26 October 2026. For OrientDig, a third-party converter's output in our 5 October notes shows orientdig.com/product?id=<id>&platform=WEIDIAN. It is not confirmed on OrientDig's own pages, and the Taobao and 1688 platform words are not in our notes.

  1. Read the digit and item ID in the HooBuy link.
  2. Check the original marketplace page against the row.
  3. Try the OrientDig pattern for a Weidian item; for Taobao or 1688, paste the full marketplace link into OrientDig's search box instead.

The HooBuy link converter handles steps 1 and 2, and the move checklist keeps the old and new links in one file.

Treat the ID-and-platform pattern as a shortcut, and fall back to the full marketplace link.

OrientDig's written terms beside HooBuy's

Trustpilot3.7 from 571 reviews, 26 Oct4.7 from 961 reviews, 5 Oct (newest 21 Aug)

"Official" means OrientDig's own pages; "3P" is a third-party table from 5 October.

On paper the two agents differ little in storage; the difference is whether the fee wording contradicts itself.

A row stored for 120 days, priced at both agents

Take a parcel that sits until day 120, at HooBuy's own rates of ¥6.04 per US$1 and ¥6.91 per €1:

OrientDig, day 120: 120 - 90 = 30 days, one step of ¥10 = $1.66 or €1.45

HooBuy, day 120: extension is for items stored 60 to 90 days, ¥10 per Product ID per month, so ¥10 = $1.66 or €1.45 per item, if you apply before day 90

The amounts match, so cost is no reason to move. Whether OrientDig charges per item or per account is not in our notes.

Ship before day 90 at either agent and the question never arises.

What buyers in Germany, Italy, Brazil and France should check

OrientDig's line prices are not in our notes, so read its own estimator before you commit. As a baseline, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21 at its rate) for 1,000 g to Germany on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only; volumetric weight can bill more. Import rules follow the destination, not the agent: since July 2026 a flat €3 duty applies per tariff category in EU parcels up to €150, and import VAT applies from the first euro (19% in Germany, 22% in Italy, 20% in France). Brazilian buyers need a CPF (see the tax ID page); we could not verify any agent's Remessa Conforme status.

Duty and VAT stay the same wherever you buy; only the shipping quote and the account change.

When the row should stay at HooBuy

Keep it there if the order is already paid and moving, or the item is stored and you will ship inside its 90 days. HooBuy's priced extras are on the QC photos page. A cautious route is one small first order at OrientDig, paid per order. Compare others on the agent pages hub, such as Basetao. If you would rather skip a new account, send us the row on WhatsApp through the contact page and pay per order.

Move new rows to OrientDig if its terms fit; leave paid, moving orders where they are.

What HooBuy buyers ask

Is OrientDig's "no handling fee" the same promise as HooBuy's "no service fee"?

They read alike but sit in different places. OrientDig's own pages, read 6 October 2026, say no handling fee on common platforms. HooBuy's help centre says no service fee in two articles, while its registration agreement names 8% of goods and 8% of shipping. OrientDig's wording does not cover every platform, so confirm the line on your checkout screen.

What happens to an OrientDig item on day 91?

OrientDig's own pages, read 6 October 2026, give 90 days of free storage and then ¥10 per 30 days. What the ¥10 applies to, and what happens if you never pay it, is not in our notes. HooBuy destroys goods after its 90 days unless you extend, so treat day 90 as the last day at either agent.

Why do we trust the OrientDig link pattern only partly?

The pattern, orientdig.com/product?id=&platform=WEIDIAN, comes from a third-party converter's output in our 5 October notes, not from OrientDig's own pages. We have not opened it ourselves. Only the Weidian value is known, so the words for Taobao and 1688 are unconfirmed. Paste the full marketplace link into OrientDig's search box if the pattern fails.

How old is the 4.7 Trustpilot score we quote for OrientDig?

The 4.7 from 961 reviews was read on 5 October 2026, when the newest review was dated 21 August. We did not re-read it on 26 October, while HooBuy's 3.7 from 571 reviews is a 26 October reading. Sort the profile by newest and read the latest reviews before you rely on either score.

Do I need a new CPF or address when I move a row from HooBuy to OrientDig?

Yes for a Brazilian buyer: a new account means entering the recipient's name, address and CPF tax ID again, and the name must match your documents. HooBuy's interface says the same about name and tax ID consistency for Brazil. OrientDig's own CPF steps are not in our notes, so ask its support before paying.
