A rename on 31 March 2025, not a closure
This is the mildest case among the agents we label Moved. JoyaBuy did not shut; its third-party record says it was renamed JoyaGoo on 31 March 2025. The old name survives in sheets, searches and videos made before that date, which is why people still ask about JoyaBuy and wonder whether it closed.
Our job is the row. A cell that says JoyaBuy needs three checks: which marketplace the item is on, what its item ID is, and whether the link still opens. Nothing is lost if the item is a Weidian, Taobao or 1688 listing, because the agent was only the way in. HooBuy, which is on Hold (see the HooBuy status page), is not the only place to take it.
JoyaBuy is the old name for an Open agent, so old rows need a rebuilt link, not a rescue.
JoyaBuy, JoyaGoo and Joybuy: three names, two companies
| Name | What it is | Our label or status |
|---|---|---|
| JoyaBuy | Old name of a shopping agent | Moved to JoyaGoo, 31 Mar 2025 |
| JoyaGoo | The same agent under its current name | Open; homepage behind a bot check on 26 Oct |
| Joybuy | JD.com's European retail shop, launched 16 Mar 2026 in UK, DE, FR, NL, BE, LU | A retailer, not an agent |
The Joybuy launch dates are from Retail Insight Network. A row marked Joybuy usually means a retail item you can buy directly, which the platform page explains. If your sheet says JoyaBuy, it points to the agent.
One letter separates an agent from a retailer; read it twice before you pay.
Rebuilding a JoyaBuy row as a JoyaGoo link
The JoyaGoo link format below is third-party: a converter output we read on 5 October 2026, not JoyaGoo's own page. For a Weidian item it reads joyagoo.com/product?id=<id>&platform=WEIDIAN. We did not record the pattern for Taobao or 1688, so do not guess it.
- Find the item ID in the old cell, next to a marketplace name.
- Check the marketplace on the sheet's tab or by opening the item.
- For Weidian, build the address in the format above and open it; for other marketplaces, search the item ID in JoyaGoo.
- Compare the price and options with the sheet before paying.
- Log both links in the move checklist.
The HooBuy link converter does the same work for HooBuy links and recorded agent formats. If the cell holds a HooBuy link, the digit after product/ is the marketplace (0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao, 2 is Weidian).
Test one rebuilt link before you convert the whole sheet.
What we could not read on 26 October
JoyaGoo's homepage sat behind a bot check on 18 and 26 October 2026. The site was up, but our browser could not read its terms. So its fee, storage, photo and payment details come only from third-party notes dated 5 October: 0 commission, 90 days of storage and a QC step, plus an iOS app. Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 2,922 reviews that day.
HooBuy's side, read from its own pages on 26 October, is 90 days of storage from the Stored status, detailed photos at ¥1 each, and fee articles that disagree: none in two articles, 8% of goods and of shipping in the registration agreement. Read both agents' current terms yourself, and do not treat our table as final for JoyaGoo.
JoyaGoo's terms are unconfirmed here; confirm them on its own site before relying on any figure.
Pricing a rescued row for Germany or Brazil
JoyaGoo's line prices are not in our notes. For a baseline, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21 at HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 1,000 g to Germany on its DHL europe package-f1 line on 26 October 2026, weight only. Versandkosten, the German word for shipping costs, follow the line and weight you pick. For Brazil it quoted $20.50 for 1,000 g on Br-standard-f. A Brazilian buyer also needs a CPF tax ID, covered on the customs and tax ID page.
Compare the same weight in JoyaGoo's calculator and in the ones listed on the HooBuy alternatives page, then choose. The agent pages hub lists the rest. If you want to skip another account, send us the row through the contact page and pay per order. The HooBuy spreadsheet home page covers rows in general.
Price the same parcel in each calculator; JoyaGoo's cost is not something we can quote.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Is JoyaBuy still online?
Under a new name, yes. JoyaBuy was renamed JoyaGoo on 31 March 2025, and JoyaGoo is the site to use, not any old JoyaBuy address. On 26 October 2026 its homepage sat behind a bot check, so we could confirm that it is up but could not read its pages that day. We therefore keep the Open label on reachability alone, with every term unconfirmed.
Do old JoyaBuy spreadsheet links still work?
We could not verify it. Our notes do not say whether the old domain redirects to JoyaGoo, so do not assume it does. Extract the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item ID from the cell and rebuild it in JoyaGoo's format, which a third-party note gives as joyagoo.com/product?id=
Are JoyaBuy and Joybuy the same company?
No, they only look alike. Joybuy is JD.com's European retail shop, launched on 16 March 2026 in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, according to Retail Insight Network. JoyaBuy was a Chinese shopping agent renamed JoyaGoo on 31 March 2025, a year earlier. One sells its own stock; the other buys from Chinese marketplaces for you.
How is JoyaGoo rated?
Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 2,922 reviews on 5 October 2026, and a similar 4.6 from about 3,000 on 18 October. That is a large base. We could not read JoyaGoo's own terms on 26 October, so the third-party notes of 0 commission and 90 days of storage remain unconfirmed. HooBuy, on Hold, had 3.7 from 571 reviews.
Should a Brazilian buyer use JoyaGoo or HooBuy?
Neither is a clear winner on our evidence. JoyaGoo is Open but unreadable behind its bot check; HooBuy worked on 26 October but answered 0% of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from 1 April to 30 September 2026. Whichever you choose, pay per order, enter your CPF tax ID, and place one small order first.
