What one HooBuy spreadsheet row contains
A row holds a photo, a price someone saw on the day they added it, a category and a link. Only the link matters for buying. HooBuy's format is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}: 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao, 2 is Weidian, and the ID is the marketplace's own item number. On 26 October 2026 we opened a Weidian item in that format. The page showed ¥147.68 as about $24.45 and tabs for "QC Photos" and "Purchase Record". A Taobao link led to the login page while logged out; we did not test 1688.
The page says HooBuy takes no liability for intellectual-property problems, and its "Risk Reminder" pop-up for "Brand products" says it cannot authenticate them (see the Risk Reminder guide). Because the ID belongs to the marketplace, a row survives its sheet. Keep the ID in its own column, as the HooBuy spreadsheet template and row tracker CSV do.
Treat a sheet as a list of marketplace IDs; the HooBuy part of each link is only the doorway.
Is HooBuy safe to use right now? What works, what worries us

Move a HooBuy row to another agent in three steps
- Read the ID. In
hoobuy.com/product/2/IDthe first digit names the marketplace (0, 1 or 2) and the number after it is the item ID. - Rebuild the link. Paste it into the HooBuy link converter. For agents in the list above where the format is unknown, paste the original marketplace link into the agent's search box.
- Check before paying. Does the page open, do the options match, is the price near the sheet's? Then place one small order.

What HooBuy's estimator quoted for 1 kg to six countries
On 26 October 2026 we entered 1,000 g, weight only, into HooBuy's estimator. Cheapest line per country, converted at HooBuy's own rates (¥6.04 per US$1, ¥6.91 per €1, ¥8.13 per £1):

Every line is tagged "Volumetric", and the estimator's FAQ divides length times width times height by 6,000, so a bulky parcel can cost more than this table. For Brazil's cheapest line HooBuy shows 71.52% of parcels arriving in 0 to 7 days, yet lists 15 to 30 days; we could not verify its statistic. The HooBuy shipping guide has all three weights and every line.
Europe costs about €14 a kilo on the cheapest line; read the listed days, not the percentage chart.
What HooBuy charges, and the 8% contradiction
HooBuy's pages disagree on its service fee. Help articles say there is no service fee for Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and other platforms, yet the registration agreement states 8% of the purchase price and 8% of the shipping cost, added at payment. On a ¥180 hoodie (an example price) plus ¥98.20 of shipping, 8% of each is ¥14.40 and ¥7.86: ¥22.26, or €3.22 at HooBuy's rate. We cannot tell which applies to you, so read the total before paying.
Other charges are clearer: a customs declaration of generally ¥8 per parcel, a ¥1 detailed QC photo (the help centre says up to 20 per item, the order form caps it at 10), a ¥15 QC video and ¥20 rehearsal packing. Storage is free for 90 days. HooBuy's help pages describe paying into an account balance; we suggest paying per order instead, and on Hold that matters more. Budget the 8% as possible, the ¥8 declaration as certain.
German and Italian readers: Versandkosten, Erfahrungen, recensioni
Germans search Versandkosten (shipping costs) and Erfahrungen (reviews). Germany pays 19% import VAT, plus since 1 July 2026 a temporary flat €3 duty per tariff category in parcels up to €150 (Council of the EU, 11 February 2026); HooBuy's help centre does not say how it handles that. Italians search recensioni (reviews), è affidabile (is it reliable) and spedizione (shipping), and many type "link to hoobuy" to turn another agent's link into a HooBuy one. Italy adds 22% IVA on import; see HooBuy to Italy.
Germany and Italy pay similar shipping; VAT and the €3 duty add the rest.
Brazilian and French readers: é confiável, planilha, avis
Brazilians search é confiável (is it reliable), planilha (spreadsheet) and Reclame Aqui, the complaints site where HooBuy is "Não Recomendada" with 0% of 30 complaints answered between 1 April and 30 September 2026. The parcel needs the recipient's CPF (tax ID), which HooBuy's app says must match official documents. Under the "taxa das blusinhas", Forbes Brasil reported on 4 September 2026 that since 12 May 2026 purchases up to US$50 pay 0% federal tax only via platforms certified in Remessa Conforme, otherwise 60%. What is a HooBuy spreadsheet and who makes it?
It is a buyer-made list of marketplace listings written as HooBuy links; HooBuy does not publish one. We found no official sheet in its 95 help articles, read on 26 October 2026. Sheets come from Reddit, Discord, Telegram and TikTok creators, so quality varies. Open five sample rows and compare today's yuan price with the sheet's.
Can I still buy a spreadsheet row through HooBuy while it is on Hold?
Yes, technically. On 26 October 2026 we opened a Weidian item through HooBuy's link format and its estimator returned live quotes. The Hold label is about risk, not a closed site: Trustpilot reviewers reported paid orders stuck at "Purchased" from June to September 2026. If you buy, pay per order, keep the first order small and screenshot every order page.
