Superbuy's standing before you move a row
Superbuy buys from the same marketplaces as HooBuy, so a row can move. Its homepage opened on 26 October 2026, and on 18 October it advertised "14+ years" and "200+ countries & regions", which are its own claims. Trustpilot showed 4.5 from 1,033 reviews on 5 October. HooBuy's own Trustpilot score read 3.7 from 571 reviews on 26 October, where reviewers describe orders stuck at "Purchased" from June to September; the status page explains our Hold label.
Superbuy's advantage for a careful buyer is documentation: its fee page is specific. Its weakness for this site is that we have no Superbuy link format and no line prices, so the move relies on pasting the marketplace address into its search.
Superbuy is Open on our site, and its charges are easy to add up in advance.
What Superbuy charges, and what HooBuy says
| Term | HooBuy | Superbuy |
|---|---|---|
| Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688 items | No fee in two articles; 8% in the registration agreement | No fee |
| Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan items | Not checked | Flat ¥20 per item |
| Kongfz and other used goods | Not checked | 10%, between ¥10 and ¥20 |
| Free storage | 90 days | 90 days, then ¥0.1 per item per day, to day 180 |
| Free photos | 3 standard, usually | 3 free |
| Detailed photos | ¥1 each | ¥2 (¥3 in its example) |
| Payment | Cards, WeChat, Alipay | Wise, Visa, Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay (5 Oct) |
HooBuy's Xianyu handling is on its Xianyu page; second-hand goods cannot be returned there. Superbuy's fee page bills a daily charge after day 90 up to day 180; what happens after that is not in our notes.
Superbuy names its charges; HooBuy's fee articles disagree with each other.
Two sums: a used-goods row and a late parcel
Take a ¥180 jacket listed on Xianyu, an example price, at HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.04 per US$1.
Flat charge: 180 + 20 = ¥200, or $33.11
If the 10% rule applied: 180 x 0.10 = ¥18, within the ¥10 to ¥20 band, so ¥198
Late storage, 90 days past the limit: 90 x ¥0.1 = ¥9 per item, or $1.49
Which rule covers a given used-goods site is Superbuy's call, so check the line shown at checkout. A late fee of ¥9 is small, and the real risk is leaving goods with any agent for months.
Used goods add ¥18 to ¥20 on a ¥180 row; late storage adds pennies per day.
The EU notice and what changes for buyers in Germany, Italy and France
Superbuy's homepage notice on 26 October carries the title "Changes to Tax and Parcel Handling Fee Collection for Selected EU Shipping Routes". We did not read the body. Separately from any notice, EU parcels worth up to €150 have owed a €3 duty per tariff category since July 2026, on top of import VAT at 19% (Germany), 22% (Italy) and 20% (France). HooBuy's EU lines carry a "Tax Free" tag in its estimator, but its help centre does not say how the €3 is handled. For Brazil, a CPF tax ID is required whichever agent you use, and we could not verify any agent's Remessa Conforme status.
Read Superbuy's EU notice in full before you choose a line to an EU address.
Moving the row, step by step
- Decode the HooBuy link by noting its marketplace digit and item ID.
- Rebuild the marketplace address with our link converter.
- Paste it into Superbuy, then compare title, options and yuan price with the row.
- Log it in the move checklist.
Rebuild the address, compare the price, then place one small order.
When HooBuy still makes sense
Finish any order already paid, and ship stored items within HooBuy's 90 days. For a shipping baseline, HooBuy priced a kilogram to Brazil on Br-standard-f at ¥123.79, or $20.50 at its rate, on 26 October 2026, by weight only. KakoBuy publishes a longer free window, and the alternatives table sets the open agents side by side. Our contact page explains the WhatsApp route if you would rather not open an account. Further agents are on the agent hub, and the HooBuy spreadsheet page lists rows.
Keep paid orders at HooBuy; send new ones to an agent you have read.
What HooBuy buyers ask
What does Superbuy's EU tax and parcel-fee notice say?
We saw only its title on Superbuy's homepage on 26 October 2026: "Changes to Tax and Parcel Handling Fee Collection for Selected EU Shipping Routes". We did not open or read the body, so we cannot say which routes or what changes. It does show that agents are adjusting EU lines this year. Read it before you pick a line for Germany, Italy or France.
After day 90, what would three stored items cost at Superbuy?
Superbuy's fee page, read 5 October 2026, lists ¥0.1 per item per day after the free 90 days, up to day 180. Three items held 30 days past the limit come to 3 x 30 x ¥0.1 = ¥9, about $1.49 at HooBuy's rate of ¥6.04 per US$1. HooBuy charges per Product ID instead: ¥10 per month to extend, for items already stored 60 to 90 days.
Is Superbuy's detailed photo ¥2 or ¥3?
Both numbers sit on the same official page, read 6 October 2026: the price list says ¥2, while an example on that page uses ¥3. We cannot say which is current, so assume ¥3 until you see the price at checkout. HooBuy lists detailed photos at ¥1 each in its interface, although its help centre allows 20 and the order form caps at 10.
Can I check Superbuy's "since 2012" claim?
Partly. Its footer showed copyright 2012 to 2026 in our 5 October notes, and its 18 October homepage said 14+ years, which is Superbuy's own claim. Neither proves unbroken trading, and we found no independent founding record. What we can add is the operator named in the 6 October terms: DOT TECHNOLOGY HONG KONG LIMITED.
Do HooBuy coupons carry over to Superbuy?
No. Per HooBuy's help centre, a coupon belongs to one account, cannot be passed on and has no cash value. Superbuy's homepage showed its own Halloween shipping coupon banner on 18 October 2026; its terms are not in our notes. Read the conditions at checkout, and do not pay a stranger for an invitation or coupon code.
