Women's finds on a HooBuy sheet: turn a Chinese size chart into your size, check dresses and bags, and count the return days

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: Women's rows on a HooBuy spreadsheet can be bought through HooBuy, but sizing is the risk, not the link. Compare the chart's centimetres with your own measurements plus the room you want, ask whether the chart is flat or body, and check bags by volume as well as weight. HooBuy's return window is 5 days (120 hours) from the status Stored, so check photos at once.

Women's rows on a HooBuy sheet: what "mujer" means and what changes

"Mujer" is the Spanish word for woman, and it appears as a tab or search term on some shared spreadsheets. For HooBuy it changes nothing: a women's row is a marketplace item behind a link like hoobuy.com/product/1/ID, with the first digit naming Taobao (1), Weidian (2) or 1688 (0). What does change is the risk profile. Dresses, skirts and bags are sold by size labels that vary by seller, and HooBuy's inspection does not cover actual fit.

HooBuy sits on our Hold label: the website and estimator responded when we checked on 26 October 2026, yet some reviewers described paid orders parked at "Purchased" through the summer. That is one more reason to settle size questions before you pay, because a wrong size found after a delay leaves less room to act. If you would rather not use HooBuy at all, the same ID can go to another agent through the link converter.

A women's row is an ordinary row; the work is in sizing, fabric and bag volume.

Size maths: from the seller's chart in centimetres to the size you order

Chinese listings often give a table in centimetres, but the table can mean two different things. A body chart gives the measurement of the person the size is meant for. A flat-lay chart gives the width of the garment laid on a table, so a chest of 48 cm means a 96 cm loop. Ask which one you are reading before you compare anything. Then use the same three steps on every row.

  1. Measure yourself. Bust, waist and hip in cm over light clothing. Example: bust 88 cm.
  2. Choose your room. Add the ease you want (an example of 4 cm for close, 8 to 12 cm for relaxed). A relaxed dress for an 88 cm bust targets 96 cm.
  3. Match the chart. If it is flat-lay, double the chest width; if it is body-based, compare directly and allow for stretch.

Flat chest width 48 cm x 2 = 96 cm loop

96 cm - 88 cm bust = 8 cm of room, so size L suits a relaxed fit

The label does the least work here: in this chart "M" would be an "L" at another shop. Write the cm figure you chose in your sheet, next to the label. HooBuy's inspection checks that the label size matches the listing, and says actual fit and small measurement differences are outside it. For a garment whose waist or length you care about, ask for a flat-lay photo with a ruler; HooBuy prices detailed photos at ¥1 each, capped at 10 per item on the order form.

Double flat widths, add your room, and trust centimetres over letters.

Dresses and skirts: the checks that sizing does not cover

Length and fabric cause as many returns as chest width. Dress and skirt listings usually give a length in cm from shoulder or waist to hem; compare it with the same point on a dress you own. The checks below fit into the standard photo set or one or two extra photos.

  • Lining: ask for a photo of the inside of the skirt in daylight; a lining shows as a second layer at the hem.
  • Zip and seams: a close photo of the side or back zip closed, and the waist seam on a flat surface.
  • Fabric tag: the composition and care label, if sewn in. The old-money page explains how to read composition labels.
  • Transparency: a photo with the item held up against a window or light.

HooBuy's standard QC covers colour, size, large damage, stains and model; its inspection leaves out minor colour difference, thread details and actual fit. A clear fault such as a stain or the wrong colour is something to report within the return window. The QC page for sheet rows has prices for the extra photo and video options.

Ask for the lining, the zip and the tag; the chart cannot show them.

Bags: three dimensions, one stuffing choice, one volume bill

A bag row should give you length, width and height in cm, the strap drop and the weight. A bag is the opposite of a folded dress: it keeps its shape, so volumetric weight usually decides the price. HooBuy lets you select pre-pack bag or box removal and reinforcement when you submit a parcel, but it does not publish prices for those options, so ask before relying on them.

Bag with its stuffing, as shipped: 30 x 12 x 22 = 7,920 cm3; 7,920 / 6,000 = 1.32 kg, so billed 1,320 g (scale 800 g)

Germany, DHL europe package-f1 at ¥98.20 per 1,000 g = ¥0.0982 per gram: 1,320 x 0.0982 = ¥129.62 (€18.76 at ¥6.91 per euro)

Same bag, stuffing out, 30 x 8 x 22 cm: 5,280 cm3; 5,280 / 6,000 = 0.88 kg, billed 880 g (above the 800 g scale weight)

880 x 0.0982 = ¥86.42 (€12.51). Saving: ¥129.62 - ¥86.42 = ¥43.20, about €6.25

All sizes are examples, and the straight-line rate is our simplification of a weight-only quote. For the bag itself, ask for these photos: hardware up close, stitching where the strap meets the body, inside lining and its label, and the bag standing on a table so the shape shows. A short video helps with zips and clasps; HooBuy's QC video is ¥15. Our shipping calculator takes your own dimensions, and the shipping guide lists lines for Germany, Italy, France, Brazil, the USA and the UK.

A shaped bag is billed by its box; take out the stuffing if HooBuy allows it.

The return window, counted to the hour

HooBuy's 5-Day Return and Exchange Guarantee allows 120 hours, starting one hour after the item is marked Stored. The seller must accept returns, and the item must be re-sellable. Take a dress marked Stored at 14:20 on Tuesday 3 November 2026 (an example date). The clock starts at 15:00 and stops 120 hours on, at 15:00 on Sunday 8 November.

That Sunday end point matters, because HooBuy gives its agent 48 hours to answer a return or exchange, so a request sent on Saturday could outlast the window. Open it by Friday if the photos show a problem. After day 5 the outcome depends on the photos: where QC images were delivered, HooBuy says the seller may say no and nothing is refunded; where none were, it says the refund is paid in full whatever the seller thinks.

What the returns rules say about women's items (HooBuy help centre, 26 October 2026)
CaseRule
Underwear, socks, leggingsCannot be returned or exchanged
Tags or packaging removed at your requestCannot be returned or exchanged
Wrong size, seller accepts returnsPossible inside the 5 days; you pay shipping if there is no quality issue
Size exchange as your 2nd to 5th use in a monthFee of ¥10 under the tier table (€1.45), plus shipping
Quality issue (wrong colour, stain, damage)Seller bears shipping

The tier table is from 4 September 2024, and older articles still say ¥5 flat, so read both before you pay. The refunds and returns page sets out the fees and payout times; the storage page covers the separate 90-day clock. If you would like a second pair of eyes on a size chart before you order, our WhatsApp, listed on the contact page, takes a chart screenshot and the row, and each order is paid separately.

Check the photos the day they arrive; a Sunday deadline comes sooner than it looks.

A mixed parcel: dress, skirt and bag together

Women's orders often combine soft and shaped goods, and the shaped one sets the price. Take a folded dress (400 g), a skirt (300 g) and the bag above with its stuffing out (800 g): 1,500 g on the scale. Packed loosely in a 32 x 24 x 14 cm box the parcel bills on volume; packed tight in 29 x 22 x 12 cm it bills on weight. Same goods, same Germany line, a different bill.

Loose: 32 x 24 x 14 = 10,752 cm3; 10,752 / 6,000 = 1.792 kg; 1,792 x ¥0.0982 = ¥175.97 (€25.47)

Tight: 29 x 22 x 12 = 7,656 cm3, or 1.276 kg of volume weight, below the 1,500 g scale weight, so billed 1,500 g; 1,500 x ¥0.0982 = ¥147.30 (€21.32)

Gap: ¥175.97 - ¥147.30 = ¥28.67, or €4.15 at ¥6.91 per euro

A ¥20 rehearsal would reveal the billed figure before you commit, but with €4.15 saved against €2.89 paid the gain here is thin. For Brazil the bigger question is tax. Forbes Brasil (4 September 2026) describes the "taxa das blusinhas" as a 0% federal rate on purchases up to US$50 that applies only via Remessa Conforme platforms, with 60% for the rest. We could not verify HooBuy's certification; the HooBuy to Brazil page has the rest.

Pack tight and the scale sets the price; pack loose and the box does.

What HooBuy buyers ask

What does mujer mean on a HooBuy spreadsheet tab?

Mujer is Spanish for woman, and some sheet makers use it as the tab or filter name for women's rows, the same way others write Women or Damen. It carries no HooBuy meaning: the link, item ID and seller are what matter. On 26 October 2026 we found nothing in HooBuy's 95 help articles that treats a women's row differently from any other.

How do I turn a Chinese size chart in centimetres into a size to order?

Take your body measurement, add the room you want, and pick the smallest listed size whose chart figure reaches that total. In our example an 88 cm bust plus 8 cm of room needs a 96 cm garment, so a flat chest width of 48 cm (48 x 2) works. Always ask whether the chart is flat-lay or body measurement first.

How much room should a dress have over my bust measurement?

That is a fit choice, not a HooBuy rule. Our example uses 4 cm for a close fit and 8 to 12 cm for a relaxed one, so an 88 cm bust gives a 92 cm or 96 to 100 cm garment. Stretch fabrics can run closer to zero. Pick one number for every row so the sheet stays consistent.

How many days do I have to return a dress ordered through HooBuy?

HooBuy's rules give 5 days, counted as 120 hours from the next hour after the status Stored. If a dress is marked Stored at 14:20 on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the window starts at 15:00 and ends at 15:00 on Sunday 8 November. The seller must accept returns and the item must be re-sellable.

Why does a handbag cost more to ship than its weight suggests?

HooBuy bills the greater of actual and volumetric weight, using length x width x height in cm divided by 6,000 on its estimator. A 30 x 12 x 22 cm bag weighing 800 g with stuffing billed as 1,320 g in our example, so ¥129.62 to Germany on DHL europe package-f1 instead of about ¥78.56. The sizes are invented.

Can I return underwear, socks or leggings bought through HooBuy?

No. HooBuy's returns rules list underwear, socks and leggings among items that cannot be returned or exchanged, alongside custom-made items and anything whose tags or packaging were removed at the user's request. Swimwear is not named in the list we read, so ask support before ordering it. Check the size chart in cm twice before you pay for any of these.
