Can a Yupoo link go into HooBuy?
Not directly. Yupoo is a place sellers host photo albums; the page has pictures, captions and often contact details, but not a basket or a payment step. HooBuy's link format is hoobuy.com/product/{code}/{item ID} with codes 0 for 1688, 1 for Taobao and 2 for Weidian, and no code stands for Yupoo. We also searched the 95 help articles we read on 26 October 2026 and the word does not appear once.
The useful reading is that Yupoo is a source of leads. The buy link is usually a Weidian or Taobao page that the album points to, and that page, not the album, belongs in the row. HooBuy is on Hold on this site (see HooBuy status), so the row may end up at another agent anyway.
The album is the lead; the Weidian, Taobao or 1688 listing is the order.
Four steps from album to a row you can order
- Open the album and read the captions. Look for an item ID, a shop name or a link to a shop.
- Open that shop on the marketplace and find the matching listing by title, photos and yuan price.
- Copy the item ID and rebuild the address as a Weidian, Taobao or 1688 listing.
- Convert it with the HooBuy link converter and save the album link beside it as proof of where the lead came from.
If step 2 fails, do not guess. A listing that is similar but not identical is a different product with a different price. Our Weidian page shows what the HooBuy page looks like once you have a real ID, and the row tracker has columns for album link and shop link.
Do the match by hand and keep both links; a row without the shop link is not ready to buy.

Album photos are also not the photos HooBuy takes. Its QC photos are shot in its Xiamen warehouse after the goods arrive: usually 3 standard photos, plus detailed photos at ¥1 each, up to ¥10 (€1.45) at the order form's cap of 10 or ¥20 (€2.89) at the help centre's 20, at HooBuy's own rate. HooBuy's inspectors check colour, size, large damage, stains and model, not minor colour difference or fit.
Use the album to find the item and the agent's photos to judge it.
Why you should not pay the album's seller directly
An agent order leaves a record, a warehouse check and a refund route. HooBuy's help centre says card, WeChat and Alipay payments refund to the original payment method, and its standard QC runs before anything ships abroad. A transfer to a seller from an album has none of that. Yupoo itself does not sell or insure anything, so there is no platform to ask.

KakoBuy's help article on priority purchase names Yupoo alongside Weidian and Xianyu, with buyers working 09:00 to 18:00 (UTC+8), Monday to Sunday. Does HooBuy accept a Yupoo link?
Not as a product page. HooBuy's link format only names 1688, Taobao and Weidian, and the word Yupoo does not appear in the 95 help articles we read on 26 October 2026. HooBuy's forwarding service takes goods already bought elsewhere, but its pages do not describe Yupoo sellers. Trace the shop link first, then use the item ID.
Why do spreadsheets list Yupoo albums if I cannot buy there?
Albums are where many sellers publish photos, so a row author often saves the album as the research link and leaves the buy link out. The album is a catalogue, not an order page. Treat it as a lead: it names the item and sometimes the shop, and the shop is what an agent can purchase from.
Can I send money to the seller whose contact is in the album?
We advise against it. Paying through an agent gives you an order record, inspection photos of what arrived and a refund route to the original payment method, which HooBuy's help centre describes. A direct transfer skips all three, and nobody checks the parcel. If a seller will only take direct payment, treat the row as unsupported.
Are the photos in a Yupoo album the same as QC photos?
No. Album photos are the seller's. HooBuy's QC photos are taken in its warehouse after arrival, usually three standard shots, with detailed photos at ¥1 each: up to ¥10 (€1.45) at the order form's cap of 10, or ¥20 (€2.89) at the help centre's 20, at HooBuy's rate of ¥6.91 per €1.
What do I do when a Yupoo album has no shop link?
Look for an item ID or shop name in the captions, then search the likely marketplace for the same title and photos. If you cannot match a price and listing with certainty, skip the row.
