Moving a HooBuy spreadsheet row to GTBuy: add-on prices, storage deadline and one digit not to copy

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: Yes, a HooBuy row can be bought through GTBuy. Its own terms state 0 service fee on Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and Weidian, 90 days of storage with goods destroyed after 120, a ¥1 photo and a ¥7 video, against HooBuy's ¥15 video. Its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026. HooBuy is on Hold, so pay per order and start with one small row.

Rows worth a ¥7 video check at GTBuy

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card opens the product page there with every photo and the price; the set changes each month. Check HooBuy's Hold status before you pay for any of them.

Can GTBuy buy the item a HooBuy row points to?

Yes, for Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and Weidian, the four marketplaces where GTBuy's own terms state a 0 service fee. A HooBuy row is a marketplace item ID, so the item itself is portable. GTBuy is labelled Open here: its homepage opened on 26 October 2026, with no closure report found.

HooBuy is on Hold. Its site loaded fine that day, yet buyers on Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui said paid orders sat at "Purchased" and refunds did not arrive from June to September 2026, and HooBuy answered none of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints. See the HooBuy status page.

GTBuy can take the row; its advantage is cheap extras, its weakness a short review record.

Photo and video prices, row by row

GTBuy's terms list a photo at ¥1 and a video at ¥7. HooBuy's order form, read on 26 October 2026, lists a detailed photo at ¥1 (with a 20-photo limit in the help centre and a cap of 10 on the form), a QC video at ¥15 and one video per item. Take four rows, each with one video and three extra photos, an example, assuming GTBuy's ¥1 is per photo:

GTBuy: 4 × (¥7 + 3 × ¥1) = 4 × ¥10 = ¥40 = €5.79 at HooBuy's rate of ¥6.91 per €1
HooBuy: 4 × (¥15 + 3 × ¥1) = 4 × ¥18 = ¥72 = €10.42
Difference: ¥32 = €4.63 (US$5.30 at ¥6.04 per US$1)

The saving exists only if you want a video on every row, and videos do not test fit. GTBuy's free photo count is not in our notes. HooBuy's side is at HooBuy QC photos.

GTBuy's extras cost less on paper; ask for a video only where it changes your choice.

Ninety days to ship, one hundred and twenty to the shredder

GTBuy's terms give 90 days of storage, with goods destroyed after 120. HooBuy's rule is simpler and harsher: free storage for 90 days from the Stored status, then goods count as abandoned and are destroyed, and an extension of ¥10 per Product ID monthly, offered only to items stored 60 to 90 days, to a six-month ceiling. Our notes do not explain GTBuy's 30-day gap, so do not treat it as a grace period.

Plan to ship at day 80, not day 119.

Reading 15 and 30 Trustpilot reviews

We recorded GTBuy at 4.2 from 15 reviews (newest 4 February) on 5 October and 4.2 from 30 (newest 20 August 2026) the next day. The scores agree; the counts do not, and we did not reconcile them. Either figure is small beside HooBuy's 3.7 from 571 on 26 October, where the newest five reviews, from 27 July to 15 September, are all one star.

A thin but recent record is better than none, and still only a reason to try a small order.

Declaration fee and line prices for GTBuy are not in our notes. For Brazil, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥123.79 (US$20.50 at ¥6.04 per US$1) for 1,000 g on Br-standard-f on 26 October 2026, weight only; set GTBuy's calculator beside that.

The fee is the same on paper; the money difference sits in extras and storage.

Moving the row without copying a digit

In HooBuy's link the digit after product/ names the marketplace, then the item ID follows. Third-party converter output suggests GTBuy uses a similar-looking path, gtbuy.com/product/2/<id>, but its digit may not match HooBuy's, so do not swap it by hand.

  1. Copy the item ID and note the platform digit from the HooBuy link.
  2. Visit the marketplace listing and compare its title and yuan price with your row.
  3. Hand the marketplace address to GTBuy through a site address you typed in yourself.

The link converter automates the first two steps; record the result in the move checklist.

Use the marketplace address, not a guessed GTBuy path.

Duties, and when to keep the row at HooBuy

Tax is collected at the border, not by the agent: from the first euro, German VAT is 19% and Italian 22%, and the EU's temporary duty is €3 for each tariff category in a parcel worth up to €150. Brazil needs a CPF tax ID. See HooBuy to Germany. Items already paid for at HooBuy should ship from there. Or skip the account: pass us the row through the contact page and pay for that order only. Compare FansBuy and the agents hub before choosing.

Move unpaid rows only, and pay per order.

What HooBuy buyers ask

Is GTBuy's ¥7 video really cheaper than HooBuy's ¥15 one?

On the listed prices, yes: GTBuy's own terms give ¥7 for a video and ¥1 for a photo, while HooBuy's order form charges ¥15 (shown against an original ¥30) for one video per item and ¥1 per detailed photo. Our notes do not say whether GTBuy's ¥1 is per photo or per item, so confirm the unit on its order screen.

Why do our two GTBuy Trustpilot readings differ?

On 5 October 2026 we recorded 4.2 from 15 reviews, newest 4 February; on 6 October GTBuy's reading was 4.2 from 30 reviews, newest 20 August 2026. We did not reconcile the two, which may come from different pages of the same profile. Either way it is a small sample, so judge GTBuy on a cheap first order.

Can I paste a GTBuy-style link number from my HooBuy row?

No. A third-party converter output from 5 October 2026 shows GTBuy product links with a number after /product/, such as gtbuy.com/product/2/ plus an ID, but we have not confirmed what that number means. HooBuy's own digits are 0 for 1688, 1 for Taobao and 2 for Weidian. Take the item ID to the marketplace instead.

What happens to goods left at GTBuy past 90 days?

GTBuy's own terms give 90 days of storage, with goods destroyed after 120 days. We did not find what the 30 days in between cost or allow. HooBuy treats goods as abandoned and destroys them after 90 days, with extensions of ¥10 per Product ID per month for items stored 60 to 90 days. Ship well before either date.

Which payment options does GTBuy list for European buyers?

Our 5 October 2026 table, partly from third-party sources, lists BLIK, P24 and iDEAL alongside cards; we could not confirm them on GTBuy's own pages. BLIK and P24 are Polish payment methods, iDEAL a Dutch one, so a buyer in Germany, Italy or France should check the checkout screen. HooBuy's help centre names only cards, WeChat and Alipay.
