Checking FansBuy's identity claims before you send it a HooBuy spreadsheet row

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: Yes, a HooBuy row can be bought through FansBuy, because the row is only a marketplace item ID. FansBuy's own site says it charges no service fees, names a UK company and claims to operate since 2015, though our notes show conflicting start years. Its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026. With HooBuy on Hold, pay per order and keep the first order small.

Can FansBuy take a HooBuy row?

The same row can go through FansBuy. A HooBuy spreadsheet row is a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item ID, and FansBuy buys from marketplaces too. Our Open label rests on two things: the homepage loaded on 26 October 2026, and no closure report turned up. It is no endorsement, but a small first order is reasonable.

HooBuy is on Hold here. Its pages worked on 26 October, yet buyers on Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reported June-to-September orders that never moved past "Purchased". Dates are on the HooBuy status page. FansBuy's own question mark is different: who exactly stands behind it.

FansBuy can take the row; check who runs it before you pay.

Who runs FansBuy: three claims, none verified by us

What our notes say about FansBuy's identity, read 5 and 6 October 2026
ClaimWhere it appearsOur check
Fansbuy Limited, UK company 17357407, CambridgeFansBuy's own site, 6 OctNot looked up in a registry
FANSBUY LIMITED, Hong KongOur 5 Oct tableConflicts with the UK listing; not resolved
"Since 2015"FansBuy's own site, 6 OctStart-year sources conflict in our notes

None of these is alarming alone. A shopping agent can hold a UK company and a Hong Kong one. But an agent that states a 2015 start and a UK company number together invites a registry check, and we have not made one. HooBuy shows the same pattern in a different form: a London company, a Hong Kong company and an app developer called Levermore.

Treat the Since 2015 line as a claim; look up the company number yourself.

What a 4.2 from 20 reviews can and cannot say

On 5 October 2026 FansBuy showed 4.2 on Trustpilot from 20 reviews. HooBuy showed 3.7 from 571 on 26 October. A single extra one-star review shows the difference in sample size (both scores rounded, so these are estimates):

FansBuy: 4.2 × 20 = 84 stars; add one 1-star review: 85 ÷ 21 = 4.05
HooBuy: 3.7 × 571 = 2,112.7 stars; add one 1-star review: 2,113.7 ÷ 572 = 3.70

FansBuy's average moves by about 0.15; HooBuy's barely at all. That is why a high score from 20 reviews is encouraging but fragile, while HooBuy's lower score is stable and its newest entries (27 July to 15 September 2026) are all one star about stuck orders. The reviews, not the number, carry the information.

A small sample can flip with one bad order; read the reviews' dates.

As a baseline for France, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥102.80 (€14.88 at its rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 1,000 g on the DHL europe package-f1 line; the read was weight only, taken on 26 October 2026. FansBuy's line prices are not in our notes; check its calculator. See HooBuy storage for the extension rules.

On paper the two are alike; FansBuy's page adds a stated zero fee and a longer storage cap.

Moving the row

A HooBuy link ends in a platform digit and an item number, where digit 0 means 1688, 1 means Taobao and 2 means Weidian. FansBuy's link pattern is not something our notes record.

  1. Separate the digit from the item number in the HooBuy address.
  2. Find the item on the marketplace and match its title and yuan price to your spreadsheet.
  3. Submit the marketplace address to FansBuy from a login page you reached by typing its name.
  4. Check FansBuy's quoted price before you pay.

Our link converter can split the link, and the move checklist keeps both links.

The marketplace and the item ID are all that travels.

Import costs, and when HooBuy still wins

Whichever agent you pick, EU import costs follow the destination: VAT from the first euro at 19% in Germany, 22% in Italy and 20% in France, and, for parcels worth up to €150, €3 per tariff category since 1 July 2026. Brazil needs a CPF tax ID. Our Italy page and Brazil page have the detail. Paid items stay at HooBuy until shipped. To avoid an extra account, you can send us the row on WhatsApp (see the contact page) and pay per order. More choices are on HooBuy alternatives, including GTBuy, and on the agents hub.

Move unpaid rows only, with one small FansBuy order first.

What HooBuy buyers ask

Does FansBuy's 4.2 Trustpilot score outweigh HooBuy's 3.7?

Not on its own, because the two scores rest on very different samples. FansBuy showed 4.2 from 20 reviews on 5 October 2026, while HooBuy showed 3.7 from 571 on 26 October. One extra one-star review would move FansBuy's average by roughly 0.15 and HooBuy's by well under 0.01. Read dates and complaint themes, not the headline.

Which FansBuy start date should a buyer believe?

None of them, until you see a registry record. FansBuy's own site says Since 2015, our notes record that start-year sources conflict, and the UK company number it names, 17357407, is not something we verified. A start year affects how long the brand has traded, not whether your next order arrives, so judge it on a small first order.

Does FansBuy charge a service fee when HooBuy's own pages disagree?

FansBuy's site says it does not charge any service fees, and our notes record no contradicting clause. HooBuy's pages conflict: two articles say no fee, while its registration agreement states 8% of goods and of shipping. FansBuy's declaration fee and line prices are not in our notes, so check the calculator.

How long can goods stay at FansBuy compared with HooBuy?

Our 5 October 2026 table lists 90 days of free storage, up to a maximum of 180, which we could not confirm from FansBuy's own pages. HooBuy gives 90 days from the Stored status, an extension at ¥10 per Product ID per month for items stored 60 to 90 days, and a six-month maximum. Ask FansBuy what an extension costs.

Is FansBuy a good place for rows I have already paid for at HooBuy?

No. Nothing in HooBuy's help centre describes moving a paid order to another agent, so those items stay there until you ship them, and free storage there ends after 90 days, so plan to ship them. Use FansBuy only for rows you have not paid for, and put one small, inexpensive test order through first.
