An invitation code is a personal link, and every ambassador has one
HooBuy does not hand out a single public invitation code. Its Ambassador Program article says each ambassador gets an exclusive invitation link or QR code from the Ambassador activity page on hoobuy.com, and people who register through it become that ambassador's invitees [id 121]. "Invitation code" in a search box therefore means "someone's link". We print none; they belong to the people who own them. Links like these can turn up in Reddit and Discord threads; an ambassador who posts one earns when a reader registers through it.
HooBuy is on Hold on this site: its pages worked on 26 October 2026, but buyers reported stuck orders and missing refunds from June to September 2026. That affects both sides of an invitation. An invitee should register knowing the Hold label, and a creator should know what they are inviting people into.
There is no master code; there are only personal links, and each one pays its owner.
What the invitee gets, and what the owner earns
The same article states both sides. An invitee receives a coupon for 15% off shipping with no minimum spend, plus a Newcomer Gift Pack of 20 shipping discount coupons with a stated total value of ¥1000 [id 121]. The coupon rules still apply: one per parcel, no cash value, no extension after expiry. Our HooBuy coupons page works through them.

The owner earns only when the invitee ships: commission is a share of international shipping, not of item prices [id 121, 123].
The invitee gets shipping coupons; the owner gets a slice of the shipping those coupons discount.
Levels, rates and the ranking prize
Four levels set the direct rate: Enthusiast (1 to 5 invitees) 4%, Champion (6 to 10) 4.5%, MVP (11 to 20) 5%, and Elite ("20 or more") 5.5%. The thresholds overlap at 20, and the help centre does not say whether the level counts people who registered or people who ordered [id 121].
The ranking bonus pays ¥1000 for 1st place, ¥700 for 2nd, ¥500 for 3rd, ¥300 for 4th to 10th, ¥200 for 11th to 20th and ¥100 for 21st to 40th. To enter, an ambassador must have invited more than 10 users who have placed orders [id 121]. In euros at ¥6.91, first place is €144.71 and the last paid rank is €14.47. How often rankings are decided is not published.
Rates rise by half a point per level, and the ranking prizes need more than ten ordering invitees.
A creator with 8 invitees, calculated
Take a creator with 8 invitees who each ship 2 parcels at the ¥98.20 that HooBuy's estimator quoted for 1,000 g to Germany on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026 (weight only, no dimensions). Eight invitees puts the creator in Champion (6 to 10), against Enthusiast if only 5 had registered.
Shipping paid: 8 × 2 × 98.20 = ¥1,571.20 (€227.38 at ¥6.91).
At Enthusiast, 4%: 1,571.20 × 0.04 = ¥62.85 (€9.10).
At Champion, 4.5%: 1,571.20 × 0.045 = ¥70.70 (€10.23). The half-point is worth ¥7.86 (€1.14).
Fixed bonus: 8 × ¥10 = ¥80 (€11.58). Champion total: 70.70 + 80 = ¥150.70 (€21.81).
With the invitee's 15% coupon on one parcel each: base = 8 × (98.20 + 83.47) = ¥1,453.36, so 4.5% = ¥65.40 (€9.46).
The ranking bonus does not apply, because 8 is not more than 10 ordering invitees. Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid after coupons and other discounts [id 123], so the last line is closer to real life than the first. Nothing is paid until the parcels are Received or 45 days pass.
Eight active invitees earn about €21 in total; this is pocket money, not income.
How and when the money arrives
Every parcel an invitee submits gets an estimated reward with the status Reward Pending. When the parcel shows Received, or 45 days after shipping, and HooBuy has found no prohibited activity, the status becomes Rewarded. You then have 60 days to claim the amount into My Affiliate Balance and withdraw it [id 123]. HooBuy also says commission is frozen until delivery [id 121].
The same agreement lets HooBuy adjust settlement standards unilaterally once published. The ambassador payout threshold and payout method are not stated in the help centre. Given the withdrawal complaints on Reclame Aqui (30 complaints from 1 April to 30 September 2026, the most-cited problem being refund of the amount paid at 21.62%), do not count on commission you have not yet withdrawn.
Commission is slow, can change, and has no published payout terms.
The affiliate share link on item pages
The second route is the Share button on a product page. On 26 October 2026 a Weidian item opened through HooBuy's link format showed: "Shipping payments made through shared links will generate commission earnings for you." That is the whole explanation we found. It suggests a shared item link works like an invitation, but we could not test the attribution, and HooBuy's pages do not say how it interacts with level rates. Sharing an item link may earn commission; treat that as unproven until your account shows it.
Penalties and a caution for creators
HooBuy's penalty article lists eight breach types: fraud, illegal behaviour, interference with the platform, malicious competition, publishing false information, personal-information misuse, promoting competing platforms and breaking contract terms [id 122]. Promoting a competing agent costs the Ambassador function and its earnings, which matters for any creator who covers several agents. Penalties range from disabling the function to removing fraudulently acquired invitees, and for repeat and severe violations HooBuy says it closes the appeal channel.
The bigger caution is about followers. Do not push people to pre-pay or to leave money with HooBuy to unlock a discount. Between June and September 2026, Trustpilot reviewers described paid orders stuck at "Purchased". A creator who says "just load up an account" owns that outcome in the eyes of the audience.
