What happened when we opened VigorBuy
On 26 October 2026 VigorBuy's site loaded a Chinese-language bot-check page instead of its content. On 6 October it sat behind a Cloudflare Turnstile check. In both cases the site was up and we could not read its terms, so VigorBuy keeps the Open label only in the narrow sense that it was reachable and we found no credible closure report.
That limits this page. Where a fact would normally come from the agent's own terms, we write "not verified". The reason to consider a move at all sits on the HooBuy status page: between June and September 2026, Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reviewers described paid orders stuck at "Purchased", and HooBuy answered none of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from 1 April to 30 September. Other options are on the alternatives page.
Moving to VigorBuy means accepting terms we could not read.
Side by side: what HooBuy publishes and what VigorBuy kept behind a check
| Term | HooBuy | VigorBuy |
|---|---|---|
| Service fee | "No service fee" in two articles; 8% in the registration agreement | Sources conflict (5 Oct); not verified |
| Free storage | 90 days from Stored | 90 days in a 5 Oct third-party note; not verified |
| QC photos | About 3 standard; detailed ¥1 each | QC exists per a third party; count and price not verified |
| App | iOS and Android listings | Android app per a 5 Oct note |
| Trustpilot | 3.7 from 571 reviews, 26 Oct | Score withdrawn, 240 reviews, 6 Oct |
| Link format | hoobuy.com/product/{0,1,2}/{id} | Not in our notes |
Most VigorBuy cells are empty or second-hand, and that is the finding: until its terms can be read, the comparison cannot be made fairly.
HooBuy has too many published numbers that disagree; VigorBuy has too few that we can read.
Five questions to put to VigorBuy before paying
If you still want to try it, send these to its support first and screenshot the replies. The answers turn unknowns into terms you can hold it to.
- What is the service fee, on which platforms, and is it a percentage or a flat sum per item?
- How many days is storage free, what does an extension cost and what happens after expiry?
- How many QC photos are free, and what do extra photos cost?
- How are refunds paid, to which method and within how many days?
- What does a Brazilian parcel need beyond the CPF, if relevant?
HooBuy publishes answers to some of these, with contradictions; its refund times by method are in the refunds and returns page.
Do not pay until at least the fee, storage and refund answers are in writing.
What the review record does and does not tell you
Trustpilot showed VigorBuy's score as withdrawn, with 235 reviews on 5 October and 240 on 6 October 2026. We do not know why the score is withdrawn and do not treat it as a verdict. What it removes is the quick comparison: HooBuy's 3.7 from 571 reviews on 26 October is a number you can argue with, while VigorBuy offers none. Reading the newest reviews directly is the only substitute. Look for dates and whether the company replied.
Without a score, read the newest reviews yourself.
Carrying one HooBuy row over as a trial
HooBuy's link is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}: 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao, 2 is Weidian. VigorBuy's own link format is not in our notes. Rebuild the original marketplace link from the ID with the HooBuy link converter, and paste it into VigorBuy once its site lets you in. The move checklist keeps both links and your screenshots in order.
Choose one cheap, light item to your own address, and pay per order. For Germany, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21 at its rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 1,000 g on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only; use that as the yardstick VigorBuy's own quote must beat. See HooBuy to Germany for more. We could not verify VigorBuy's Remessa Conforme status for Brazil.
Test with one cheap parcel to yourself, and compare its quote with the baseline.
Readers better served by an agent with readable terms
Wait if you need a stated fee before you commit, if the haul is large, or if the parcel is going to Brazil and you want customs steps spelled out. Compare RizzitGO, whose terms we could read, or the agent pages hub. If you would rather not open an account at an agent whose terms are closed to us, send us the row on WhatsApp through the contact page and pay per order.
If you cannot read the terms, do not hold money or goods there.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Does a bot-check page mean VigorBuy has closed?
No. A bot check means the site is up but its content was not readable to our browser, which is how we label it: site up, content not readable on 26 October 2026. It also tells us nothing about orders. It does mean we could not verify any fee, storage or photo term from VigorBuy's own pages, so those cells in our table say not verified.
What do we actually know about VigorBuy's storage and fees?
Very little from its own pages. Our 5 October notes recorded fee sources that conflict, 90 days of storage and QC photos, all from third parties, and our 6 October attempt was blocked. HooBuy states 90 days of storage but contradicts itself on fees. Treat every VigorBuy figure as a question to put to support, not a fact.
Why is VigorBuy's Trustpilot score missing?
Trustpilot showed the score as withdrawn on 5 and 6 October 2026, with 235 and then 240 reviews. We cannot say why it is withdrawn, and we do not read it as proof of anything. It does mean there is no headline number to compare with HooBuy's 3.7 from 571 reviews, so you would have to read the reviews themselves.
Should I send a Brazilian or German parcel through VigorBuy first?
Not as a first test. Brazilian parcels need your CPF tax ID entered correctly, and VigorBuy's steps for it are not in our notes, so a mistake could cost more than the item. For Germany, import VAT of 19% and the flat €3 duty per tariff category apply anyway. Test with a cheap, light item to your own address.
Can I keep money in a VigorBuy account between orders?
We advise against it at any agent. Our site-wide approach is to pay for each order and each parcel when you place it, and that matters more here because VigorBuy's refund and deposit terms were unreadable to us. HooBuy's help pages describe paying into an account balance; we suggest paying per order instead, and on Hold that matters more.
