ACBuy and HooBuy are both on Hold: how to place one row there and pay per order

Status and facts checked .

Short answer: A HooBuy row can be bought through ACBuy, but both agents carry our Hold label, so pay per order and start small. ACBuy's homepage loaded on 26 October 2026 and its own terms read on 6 October list 0 fee on regular platforms, 90 days of storage and 3 to 5 photos. A rep.tools report says the owner confirmed a shutdown in August 2026, which we could not verify.

Rows to price in ACBuy before you pay

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card opens the product page there with every photo and the price; the set changes each month. Check HooBuy's Hold status before you pay for any of them.

Two Hold labels, two different reasons

ACBuy carries the same Hold label as HooBuy on this site, but for different reasons. HooBuy works on screen, but buyers reported stuck orders and unpaid refunds from June to September 2026 (see the HooBuy status page). ACBuy's evidence is thinner and points two ways.

On the working side, its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026, and our 12 October card note says ordering works. On the worrying side, its newest notice that we saw, dated 24 June 2026, was about a warehouse upgrade and asked buyers to submit parcels promptly, and its Trustpilot page showed 4.5 from 975 reviews on 5 October with the newest dated 30 July 2026. rep.tools, which earns agent affiliate commissions, reported an owner-confirmed shutdown in August 2026. We could not confirm that on the site itself.

ACBuy loads, but a shutdown report and a quiet review page keep it at Hold: usable with care, never as a place to park money.

ACBuy's stated terms beside HooBuy's

The ACBuy column below comes from its own pages read on 6 October 2026. The HooBuy column is from its help centre and interface read on 26 October 2026, where HooBuy's own articles disagree on the service fee.

ACBuy against HooBuy, terms as published
ItemACBuy (6 Oct 2026)HooBuy (26 Oct 2026)
Service fee0 on regular platforms; ¥10 per item on special platformsNone in two articles; 8% of goods and of shipping in the registration agreement
Customs declaration¥10 to ¥30Generally ¥8, depending on the shipping method
Handling¥8, unit not stated in our notes¥8 per parcel in one help-centre shipping example (GD-EMS to the USA)
Free storage90 days, maximum 18090 days from Stored; ¥10 per Product ID per month to extend
Photos3 to 5 photosAbout 3 standard; detailed photos ¥1 each
Payment methodsNot checkedCards, WeChat and Alipay in its help pages

The two agents look alike on storage. They differ on the declaration charge and on how clearly the fee is stated. HooBuy's own charges are covered on the HooBuy fees page.

ACBuy states its zero fee more cleanly than HooBuy, but charges more for declaration on paper.

Rebuilding the row inside ACBuy

The item in your row is a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing; HooBuy only wraps it.

  1. Read the code after product/ in the HooBuy link: 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao, 2 is Weidian.
  2. Copy the item ID that follows.
  3. Rebuild the marketplace address and open it to confirm the product and price match the row.
  4. Paste that address into ACBuy. Its own link format is not in our notes, so rely on the marketplace address, not on a guessed pattern.
  5. Log both links in the move checklist.

Our HooBuy link converter covers the first three steps. If a row holds an agent link of an older kind, the same method applies: find the marketplace address inside it, then start at step three.

Move the marketplace address and item ID; the wrapper link is the part that does not travel.

If goods are already in an ACBuy warehouse

The one ACBuy notice we saw told buyers to submit parcels promptly, and our card note says it urges shipping stored parcels. ACBuy's storage window is 90 days, with a 180-day maximum. If goods are stored there, create the parcel while the site works and keep screenshots of the order and parcel pages.

Nothing in our notes describes moving stored goods between agents, so a new link only helps rows you have not paid for. Our HooBuy storage page explains the countdown.

Ship what is already stored before ordering more, at whichever agent holds it.

What is known for Germany, Italy, Brazil, the US and France

Less than for other agents. ACBuy's line prices and delivery times are not in our notes, and we will not borrow HooBuy's. For a baseline, HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21 at HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 1,000 g to Germany on the DHL europe package-f1 line on 26 October 2026, weight only, with volumetric weight possible on top.

Customs does not follow the agent. Brazilian buyers still need a CPF tax ID, covered on the customs and tax ID page, and EU duty rules changed on 1 July 2026 whichever agent you use. If you would rather skip another account while two agents are on Hold, send us the row through the contact page and pay per order.

Compare the same weight in both calculators; do not assume ACBuy's lines match HooBuy's.

When staying with HooBuy is the calmer choice

A small first order at HooBuy is cheap to test if its item page opens; moving to ACBuy swaps one unresolved risk for another. For an agent without a Hold label, the HooBuy alternatives page compares nine Open agents, including LitBuy. The agent pages hub lists the rest, and the HooBuy spreadsheet home page explains rows.

Hold to Hold is a sideways move; an Open agent is the real change.

What HooBuy buyers ask

Is ACBuy shut down?

Not according to what we could load. ACBuy's homepage opened normally on 26 October 2026. Against that, rep.tools, which earns agent affiliate commissions, reported an owner-confirmed shutdown in August 2026, and the newest Trustpilot review we saw was dated 30 July 2026. We could not reconcile the two, so ACBuy stays at Hold.

Which fees does ACBuy list on its own pages?

ACBuy's terms, read on 6 October 2026, list a 0 fee on regular platforms and ¥10 per item on special platforms. They also list customs declaration of ¥10 to ¥30 and a ¥8 handling charge; our notes do not say whether the handling charge applies per order, item or parcel. HooBuy's help pages list about ¥8 for declaration.

Should I leave money in an ACBuy account?

No. With a shutdown report on one side and a working homepage on the other, pay for each order and each parcel when you place it, and leave nothing in the account between orders. HooBuy buyers reported refunds not arriving between June and September 2026, so the rule applies there too.

How long can goods sit in ACBuy's warehouse?

ACBuy's terms give 90 days of storage, with a maximum of 180 days. HooBuy gives 90 days from the Stored status and allows extensions of ¥10 per Product ID per month, up to 6 months. Treat 90 days as a ceiling, not a target, and ship early. Nothing in our notes says what happens to goods after the window ends.

How do I turn a HooBuy link into an ACBuy order?

Read the digit after product/ in the HooBuy link (0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao, 2 is Weidian), copy the item ID, rebuild the original marketplace address and paste that into ACBuy. We did not record an ACBuy link format, so do not guess one. Check price and options against the row before paying.
