Oopbuy as a place to move a HooBuy row
A row from a HooBuy spreadsheet names a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item, and any agent that buys from that marketplace can take the same item. Oopbuy is one of the agents we label Open (see HooBuy alternatives): oopbuy.com answered on 26 October 2026 and no credible closure report turned up.
The reason to move is on the HooBuy status page. HooBuy's pages worked on 26 October, yet reviewers on Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui spent June to September 2026 writing about paid orders sitting at "Purchased" and refunds not arriving, and HooBuy answered 0% of the 30 Reclame Aqui complaints filed from 1 April to 30 September 2026. Our label for that is Hold: pay per order and begin with one small order.
Oopbuy can take the same row, and the move is mostly a matter of rebuilding the link and rechecking terms.
Taking the row out of HooBuy's link
A HooBuy link looks like hoobuy.com/product/2/<ID>, where the first number is HooBuy's own marketplace code (Weidian 2, Taobao 1, 1688 0). A Weidian item opened for us that way on 26 October 2026, while a Taobao one went to a login screen. Oopbuy's own link format is not in our notes, so do not guess it.
- Read the digit and the ID from the HooBuy link.
- Open the original marketplace page and confirm the title and yuan price match the row.
- Paste that marketplace address into Oopbuy's search box after logging in at oopbuy.com.
- Compare the price Oopbuy shows with the row before you pay.

"Score withdrawn" means Trustpilot shows no star score for Oopbuy.
Oopbuy states the simpler fee and the same free-storage window; HooBuy's own fee pages contradict each other.
A ¥180 row, paid by PayPal and held to day 150
Two Oopbuy terms cost money outside the item price. Take a hoodie at ¥180, an example price, and HooBuy's own rate of ¥6.04 per US$1.
Item in dollars: 180 / 6.04 = $29.80
PayPal line: 29.80 x 0.045 = $1.34, plus $0.30 = $1.64, so $31.44 paid
Storage to day 150: 60 days past the free 90 is two 30-day steps, 2 x ¥10 = ¥20, or $3.31 (€2.89 at HooBuy's ¥6.91 per euro)
$1.64 is an estimate, since our notes do not say what the percentage covers. Ship inside 90 days and storage is free.
The PayPal line adds about 5.5% on a small order; storage costs nothing if you ship on time.
What buyers in Germany, Italy, Brazil, the US and France notice
We hold no Oopbuy line prices, so ask its own estimator for the same weight. HooBuy's comparison point is ¥49.50 (€7.16 at its rate) for 500 g to Italy on the DHL europe package-f1 line, quoted on 26 October 2026 by weight alone; billing by volume can raise it. Duty follows the address, not the agent: import VAT (19% in Germany, 22% in Italy, 20% in France), the €3-per-tariff-category duty on EU parcels since July 2026 (see HooBuy to Germany), and a CPF tax ID for Brazil.
Duty and VAT follow the destination, not the agent; only the shipping quote changes.
When to keep the row at HooBuy instead

Does Oopbuy publish a free photo count like HooBuy's three standard shots?
Not in the notes we hold. HooBuy's help centre says it usually provides 3 standard photos, with detailed photos at ¥1 each. For Oopbuy, a third-party table from 5 October 2026 says QC photos exist and include a weight photo, but gives no count. Ask Oopbuy's support for the free number first.
What does Oopbuy's PayPal fee look like next to HooBuy's card options?
Oopbuy's official terms, read 6 October 2026, list PayPal at 4.5% plus $0.30, alongside Wise, cards and Klarna. HooBuy's help centre lists cards, WeChat and Alipay, and says a cross-border handling percentage exists without stating it. On a $29.80 payment, Oopbuy's PayPal line comes to $1.64. Compare the fee shown at checkout, not the headline.
Is it safe to leave stored items at HooBuy while I try Oopbuy?
Not by adding to them. HooBuy's free storage runs 90 days from the Stored status, then goods count as abandoned and are destroyed. With HooBuy on Hold here, ship what is stored, or open a ticket, before spending on a second agent. New rows can go to Oopbuy, one small order first.
Do Oopbuy lookalike sites matter for someone coming from a HooBuy sheet?
Yes, because a sheet row can send you to any address at all. Our 5 October notes flag lookalike domains for Oopbuy, and on 18 October the genuine homepage redirected to oopbuy.com. Type the address yourself, and never enter card or login details on a page you reached from a spreadsheet row.
Will a HooBuy coupon work at Oopbuy?
No. HooBuy's help centre says its coupons are tied to the account, cannot be transferred and cannot be exchanged for cash; they are shipping coupons used when submitting a parcel. Oopbuy's own promotions are not in our notes, so read its notices on the day you order and treat any code you are sent with caution. We print no codes.
