Why "best" is the wrong question for a HooBuy sheet
Searches for the "best" or "ultimate" HooBuy spreadsheet assume someone ranks them. Nobody does, and HooBuy does not publish a sheet of its own. We read its 95 help articles on 26 October 2026 and found none. A sheet is a private list made by a buyer, a creator or a community, so the useful question is how to judge the one in front of you. Brazilian readers type the same thing as "melhor planilha HooBuy"; the answer is identical.
Judging takes less effort than it sounds. A bad sheet fails fast and for visible reasons: no dates, rows that do not load, prices nobody can check. A good one passes a ten-minute test. Below is the card we use, with points we picked ourselves, so treat the weights as a starting point and change them if your priorities differ.
Rank sheets by how they perform on your test, not by their claims.
The 100-point scorecard
Score each line, add them up, and write the total at the top of your copy. Each criterion has a plain test you can run without paying anything.
| Criterion | Points | How to test it |
|---|---|---|
| Date stamps per row or per tab | 15 | Is there a "checked on" date? Full marks if under 6 months old |
| Dead-row rate | 20 | Open ten random rows; full marks for 0 or 1 failures |
| QC links or QC photos | 15 | Does the row point to photos you can open? |
| Price shown in ¥ | 10 | Yuan, with the date; dollar-only prices score zero |
| Platform digit and item ID kept | 10 | Can you tell Taobao, Weidian and 1688 apart? |
| Size, weight or colour notes | 10 | At least a size range or grams per row |
| Original marketplace link beside the HooBuy link | 10 | Lets you move the row to another agent |
| Disclosure of affiliate or invite links | 10 | Does the author say what earns them money? |
Use the bands: 75 and above is worth using for ideas, 60 to 74 only for rows you verify, and under 60 you skip. The bands are our judgement and not an industry standard. Our own HooBuy spreadsheet with QC page goes deeper on the QC line.
A sheet that cannot earn 60 points in ten minutes is not worth a second look.
Date stamps and the dead-row rate
These two lines carry 35 of the 100 points because everything else decays without them. A date tells you how long the prices and links have been unchecked. A dead-row rate tells you how much of the sheet is usable now.
To measure the rate, pick ten rows, open each HooBuy address and mark it loads, login wall or failed. On 26 October 2026 a Weidian item opened through HooBuy's link format showed price, weight and volume, while a Taobao item link redirected to a login page. So a login wall is not a failure; count it as unknown and open the original marketplace link instead.
Example, with invented results. Ten rows tested: 7 load, 1 asks for a login, 2 fail.
Dead-row rate: 2 ÷ 10 = 20%. Count the login row as a pass if the marketplace link then loads.
Points: 0 or 1 failures earns full marks (20); 2 failures earns 14 on our scale; each further failure costs 3 more.
If a sheet has no date, assume the worst. Our guide to old HooBuy spreadsheets from 2025 and 2024 shows how to test and rescue rows from an undated sheet.
Ten minutes of opening links beats any reputation.
Prices in ¥ and the cost behind them
A price in yuan can be verified against the live item page; a price in dollars or euros cannot, unless the author states the rate and the day. HooBuy converts at its own rates: ¥6.04 per US$1, ¥6.91 per €1 and ¥8.13 per £1, read on 26 October 2026. A sheet that shows only "$24" tells you nothing about what the yuan price was.
Also check what the price leaves out. HooBuy's help centre defines the total as item cost plus international shipping plus customs charges, where item cost includes the domestic freight from the seller to HooBuy's warehouse. A sheet showing only the item price understates the bill. HooBuy's help pages also contradict each other on whether a service fee exists, one article saying none and the registration agreement saying 8% of goods and shipping; our HooBuy fees page shows both.
Score full marks only when the row shows a yuan price and a date. If the sheet adds weight in grams, you can estimate shipping with the HooBuy shipping calculator before you order.
Yuan plus a date is checkable; anything else is a guess.
QC links, sizes and the original link
QC links earn 15 points because they show an item at HooBuy's warehouse rather than in the seller's studio shots. HooBuy's item page has a QC Photos tab and a Purchase Record tab, which we saw on 26 October 2026. A sheet that links directly to those photos saves you a step. Remember that a QC photo shows one buyer's copy, so use it as evidence, not a guarantee.
The original marketplace link is worth 10 points because it is the part that lets you leave. If the only link is a HooBuy address, you need to decode the item ID before moving the row; the HooBuy link converter does this and gives the original address. Size, weight and colour notes matter for a practical reason: HooBuy's inspection checks size but not actual fit, so a sheet that records measurements saves you a return.
Reward sheets that make leaving easy and show their evidence.
Affiliate links and the Hold question
HooBuy's item pages have a Share function; the page says shipping payments made through shared links generate commission earnings for the sharer. Its ambassador scheme pays 4% to 5.5% of an invitee's international shipping fee, depending on level. So a creator's sheet may be a way to earn, which is not wrong, but it should be said. A sheet that discloses it gets 10 points; one that hides it gets none.
A high score cannot remove the platform risk. HooBuy is on Hold on this site: its site and estimator worked on 26 October 2026, but buyers on Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reported paid orders stuck at "Purchased" between June and September 2026, and the 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from 1 April to 30 September 2026 had 0% answered. Read the HooBuy status evidence before you pay. Pay per order, order small, and keep the original link so the row can move to an open agent.
A great sheet still sits on top of a platform on Hold.
A worked score, step by step
Here is the card applied to an imaginary sheet, so you can see how the numbers behave. Every figure below is invented for the example.
Dates: rows carry a month but no day, 12 of 15 points.
Dead rows: 2 failures in ten, 14 of 20.
QC links on half the rows, 8 of 15. Prices in yuan with no date, 6 of 10. Platform digit and ID present, 10 of 10.
Sizes, 4 of 10. Original links, 0 of 10. Affiliate disclosure, 0 of 10.
Total: 12 + 14 + 8 + 6 + 10 + 4 + 0 + 0 = 54 out of 100, so skip it, or rebuild only the rows you tested.
The zero for original links is the usual weak spot. It does not mean the author did anything wrong, only that you could not take those rows elsewhere without decoding each one yourself.
Add the lines up, write the total on your copy and let the band decide.
Rebuild the best rows in a tracker
The practical way to get a "best" sheet is to build a short one. Take the rows that passed your test, and copy them into our free HooBuy row tracker. It has columns for marketplace, item ID, original link, HooBuy link, backup agent link, price in ¥, seller freight, weight, order status, storage dates and QC checks, with a totals column. Open it in any spreadsheet program.
- Score the source sheet and write the total in the notes column.
- Copy only rows that loaded, keeping platform digit and ID.
- Fill in the live yuan price and the date you checked.
- Add a backup agent link, using the HooBuy alternatives list, for every row.
If you would rather not run any of this, send us a row on WhatsApp through the contact page, and pay per order.
Your own tested twenty rows beat someone else's thousand.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Is there an official HooBuy spreadsheet I can trust?
No. We read all 95 articles in HooBuy's help centre on 26 October 2026 and found no official sheet; HooBuy's item pages say listings come from third-party platforms. Every sheet is therefore made by a buyer or creator, and its quality depends on that person. Judge a sheet by its dates, its working links and its prices, not by its popularity.
How many rows should I test before trusting a sheet?
Ten, picked at random from the top, middle and bottom. Open each row's HooBuy address and note whether it loads, matches its title and shows the yuan price on the sheet. If more than two fail, move on. This is our own rule of thumb, not a statistic, but it takes about ten minutes and catches most abandoned sheets.
Why does the price currency matter when I pick a sheet?
Yuan is the marketplace's price, so it can be checked. A dollar or euro figure depends on a rate and a date that sheets seldom state. HooBuy's own rates on 26 October 2026 were ¥6.04 per US$1 and ¥6.91 per €1, and it converted one test item from ¥147.68 to about $24.45. Prefer sheets showing ¥ with the date.
What is a good sheet score and what is a fail?
On our 100-point card, 75 or more means use it for ideas and still test each row; 60 to 74 means use it only for rows you have verified; below 60 means skip it. The cut-offs are our judgement, built to reward dates and working links over volume. A sheet with thousands of rows but no dates will fail.
Is a sheet with QC links better than one without?
Usually, because a QC link lets you see an earlier buyer's photos before you pay. HooBuy's item pages carry a QC Photos tab, which we saw on 26 October 2026, so you can often check yourself. Still, a photo shows someone else's copy. Treat QC links as evidence to compare, worth 15 of our 100 points, never as a promise.
Should I pick the sheet with the most finds?
No. Size says nothing about whether links load, and big sheets often mix old and new rows without dates. A sheet of 200 dated, tested rows is worth more than 10,000 untested ones. Because HooBuy is on Hold on this site, a smaller sheet you can move to an open agent row by row is also safer.
