All fourteen platforms: HooBuy coverage and the simplest route
The middle column answers one narrow question: does HooBuy's product-link format have a code for this site? Only three do. The last column says what we think is simplest for a reader holding a spreadsheet row, and each platform name opens its own page.

Three marketplaces fit HooBuy's link format; for the other eleven, start from the retailer's own page.
The three that fit: Taobao, Weidian and 1688
These are the Chinese marketplaces agents are built around. HooBuy's address is hoobuy.com/product/{code}/{item ID}, and only the item ID travels to another agent, because agents do not share codes.

If the row came from a Chinese marketplace, the ID is the portable part.
Yupoo and Alibaba: pointers, not shops
Neither site is where the order happens. A Yupoo album is a gallery, and the shop link or item ID inside it usually leads to Weidian or Taobao. Alibaba.com sells to businesses, and the same product often has a 1688 twin that does fit HooBuy's format.
Find the underlying Weidian, Taobao or 1688 ID first, then choose the agent.
The direct retailers: when an agent adds nothing
DHgate, Hacoo, AliExpress, SHEIN, Temu, Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and Joybuy all sell and ship to you themselves. An agent adds a seller-to-warehouse leg, an international line and often its own fees. HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥49.10 (€7.11 at its rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 500 g to Germany and ¥98.20 (€14.21) for 1,000 g on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only, before any item cost.
What an agent does add is QC photos, a combined parcel and a way to pay without a Chinese account. Those matter for Chinese-marketplace items and little for a retailer that already delivers. The Hacoo page compares that app's basic fee with HooBuy's line.
If a retailer will deliver the item to you, price its delivery before opening an agent.
Customs does not care which site you used
Rules attach to the parcel. In the EU a temporary flat duty of €3 per tariff category applies to parcels up to €150 from 1 July 2026, with import VAT from the first euro: Germany 19%, Italy 22%, France 20%. In Brazil, purchases up to US$50 by individuals carry 0% federal tax through platforms certified in Remessa Conforme; above US$50 a certified platform pays 60% less a US$30 deduction, and a platform outside the programme pays 60% with no deduction, plus ICMS. We could not verify HooBuy's certification.
In the United States the duty-free threshold ended for all countries on 29 August 2025. Our Germany page works through the EU side. Taxes follow the value and destination of the parcel, not the marketplace it came from.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Which marketplaces can HooBuy buy from by link?
Three, by the format we read on 26 October 2026: hoobuy.com/product/ followed by 0 for 1688, 1 for Taobao or 2 for Weidian and then the item ID. A Weidian item opened without login, a Taobao link reached the login page and 1688 was untested. The other eleven names on this page have no code.
Is it cheaper to buy from AliExpress or Temu through an agent?
Not in the cases we checked. An agent adds a seller-to-warehouse leg, an international line and possibly its own fees to an item the retailer would post to you itself. HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥98.20 (€14.21 at its rate) for 1,000 g to Germany on 26 October 2026, shipping only. Compare that with the retailer's delivery line first.
What is Yupoo, and can I buy from it?
Yupoo is a photo-hosting site that sellers use for albums. You normally cannot pay there. The album usually holds a shop link or item ID for Weidian or Taobao, and that ID is what goes into an agent. Treat any album that asks you to pay a seller directly with caution and use an agent.
Does the marketplace change what customs charges?
Not by itself; the parcel's value and destination do. Why is HooBuy on Hold if its pages work?
Its site, estimator and item pages worked on 26 October 2026, but between June and September 2026 Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reviewers reported paid orders stuck at Purchased and refunds not arriving, and HooBuy answered 0% of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from 1 April to 30 September 2026. Hold means pay per order and start with one small order.
