What CNFans looked like on four dates
The evidence on CNFans changed within three weeks, which is why we show it by date rather than as one verdict.
| Date | Reading | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 5 Oct | Trustpilot 4.1 from 13,294 reviews, newest dated 19 Aug; closure reported for Aug 2026 | Third-party notes, rep.tools |
| 6 Oct | Homepage and help pages loaded with no closure notice; newest Trustpilot review 15 Sep | Our read of its own pages |
| 18 Oct | Maintenance page with cyberattack notices | Our homepage check |
| 26 Oct | Maintenance page still up | Our homepage check |
The jump from a working help centre on 6 October to a maintenance page by 18 October fits a closure, but no page we read states one. rep.tools earns commissions from agents, so we use it as a pointer, not proof.
The site changed for the worse in October and no source shows it recovering.
Why the label stays Closed
Closed on this site means shut down or offline, and a maintenance page with attack notices, seen on 18 and again on 26 October, meets that bar for a buyer. The risk for you is not a polite refusal but an order that is accepted, paid and never purchased. HooBuy's own reviewers describe that pattern at HooBuy (see the HooBuy status page), so we apply the same caution at a Closed agent, only more strictly: no new orders, no stored money, no parcels left in a warehouse you cannot reach.
If you already have money or goods there, our notes hold no official recovery route. Screenshot the order pages, and if you paid by card or PayPal, ask your provider about its dispute rules.
Treat a CNFans checkout as unprotected until it publishes a clear reopening notice.
What to look for in an old CNFans cell
Spreadsheet makers pasted agent links, often with the marketplace address inside, and sometimes only an item ID. We did not record a CNFans link format, so we will not claim a pattern. Work like this:
- Open the cell in a text editor and look for taobao, weidian or 1688 in the text.
- If you find an address, keep it. If you find only an ID, note the marketplace from the sheet's tab or column.
- Check the live listing against the row: price, sizes and seller can all have changed since the sheet was made.
- Paste the address into an Open agent and log old and new links in the move checklist.
The HooBuy link converter is built for HooBuy and agent link formats; we did not test it on CNFans cells. A row that contains hoobuy.com/product/ followed by a digit and ID is a HooBuy link, not a CNFans one.
Find the marketplace address, confirm the live price, then change agent.
What to match when you replace it
CNFans' own pages listed 60 days of free storage and 3 to 5 photos, under the company name STAR CREATION UK CO., LIMITED; a third-party table from 5 October gave a 0% headline fee. Those are modest terms to match. Oopbuy states no service fee and 90 days, plus ¥10 per 30 days to extend; Superbuy states no service fee on Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 and 3 free QC photos; Sugargoo lists 7 free photos. These come from each agent's own pages read on 6 October 2026 (Superbuy's fee and storage page: 5 October), and the HooBuy alternatives page sets them side by side.
Line prices for CNFans are not in our notes, so we cannot say what moving costs you per parcel. HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥99.00 (€14.33 at HooBuy's rate of ¥6.91 per €1) for 1,000 g to Italy on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only, as a baseline for comparing calculators.
You can match CNFans on stated terms at an Open agent without paying more on paper.
Picking where the row goes
Start with an Open agent from the agent pages hub, such as Oopbuy or Superbuy, and place one small order before a haul. For Italian buyers, spedizione (shipping) and recensioni (reviews) both change by agent, so check each agent's own calculator. If you would rather not open a new account, send us the rescued row through the contact page and pay per order. The HooBuy spreadsheet home page explains how the rows are arranged.
Rescue the address, pick an Open agent, order one item first.
What HooBuy buyers ask
Is CNFans closed for good?
We label it Closed, not proven dead. rep.tools, which earns agent affiliate commissions, reported an owner-confirmed closure in August 2026, and the site showed a maintenance page with cyberattack notices on 18 and 26 October. Against that, its homepage loaded normally on 6 October. Because those readings conflict, the safe reading is that no order you place there is protected.
Can I still use a CNFans link from a spreadsheet?
Treat the link as a pointer only. We did not record CNFans' link format, so open the cell and look for a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address or an item ID, and use that at another agent. Do not log in or pay on the CNFans site itself, since its pages showed a maintenance notice on 26 October 2026.
How many reviews did CNFans have?
Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 13,294 reviews when we read it on 5 October 2026, with the newest dated 19 August; a read on 6 October noted a newest review of 15 September. Trustpilot's list on 18 October still showed 4.1 for CNFans. A large, high score does not make an agent open, so treat it as history.
What did CNFans offer that I should match elsewhere?
Its own pages listed 60 days of storage and 3 to 5 photos, and a third-party table from 5 October gave its headline fee as 0%. The company named was STAR CREATION UK CO., LIMITED. Among Open agents, Oopbuy and Superbuy list longer storage windows of 90 days, so you lose nothing on storage by moving, and the photo counts are on each agent's page.
Should I choose HooBuy to replace CNFans?
Only with care. HooBuy loaded on 26 October 2026, but buyers reported stuck orders and unpaid refunds between June and September, and it answered 0% of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints in the period 1 April to 30 September. If you use it, pay per order and place one small order first. Our alternatives page lists nine Open agents.
