iTaoBuy as a destination for a HooBuy row: two percentage clauses, one encoded link and a 90-day clock

iTaoBuy can take the row; read the percentage before you do

Any agent that buys from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 can take a HooBuy row, because the row is a marketplace item inside a hoobuy.com link. iTaoBuy is labelled Open here: its homepage loaded on 26 October 2026 and we found no credible closure report. The caution is in its terms. Clause 8.3, read on 6 October, sets a 10% technical service fee on account deposits, order payments and international freight.

HooBuy is on Hold on this site, as the status page sets out: between June and September 2026, Trustpilot and Reclame Aqui reviewers described paid orders stuck at "Purchased" and refunds not arriving. That is a reason to compare, not a reason to accept any fee unread. More agents are on the alternatives page.

The item moves easily; the 10% clause is what to price first.

Ten percent here, eight percent there

A 5 October third-party source described iTaoBuy's fee as either undisclosed or 3–5%, which does not match the 10% in its own terms. We follow the terms and label the rest. The honest position is that both agents have a percentage written somewhere and neither is proven at checkout.

iTaoBuy's written clause is two points higher than HooBuy's, and both need a checkout screenshot.

A ¥180 row with each clause applied

The sums use an example ¥180 hoodie and HooBuy's own rates of ¥6.04 per US$1 and ¥6.91 per €1. They show the clauses as written, not what either agent charges.

The freight line is hypothetical: it takes HooBuy's estimator price for scale, not an iTaoBuy quote. Even so, the clause adds a visible amount on both item and shipping, which is why it matters more on large hauls than on one hoodie.

On a single item the gap is cents; on a large haul with freight it grows.

The encoded-link route for a HooBuy row

HooBuy's format is hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID}, where 0 is 1688, 1 is Taobao and 2 is Weidian. For iTaoBuy, a third-party converter shows itaobuy.com/product-detail?url= followed by the encoded marketplace address, so you need the whole marketplace link, not just the ID.

2. Rebuild the original marketplace link and check it opens the same item.

Germany and Italy: what the clause sits on top of

iTaoBuy's line prices are not in our notes. HooBuy's estimator quoted ¥99.00 (€14.33 at its rate) for 1,000 g to Italy on DHL europe package-f1 on 26 October 2026, weight only; volumetric weight can bill more. Add import VAT from the first euro (Italy 22%, Germany 19%) and, since July 2026, a flat €3 duty per tariff category on parcels up to €150. Our HooBuy to Italy page covers the HooBuy side. Add the 10% to the shipping quote and the destination taxes, then compare totals.

When HooBuy or another agent is the better call

If the row is already paid at HooBuy and moving, leave it. If you want no written percentage at all, see Oopbuy, whose own pages state none. The agent pages hub lists the rest. If you would rather skip a new account, send us the row on WhatsApp through the contact page and pay per order.

What HooBuy buyers ask

Does iTaoBuy's 10% apply to my shipping bill too?

Its terms, read 6 October 2026, name three places: deposits into the account, order payments and international freight. Read literally, shipping is included. Whether iTaoBuy applies it in practice is not in our notes, since a 5 October third-party source said the fee is not disclosed or 3–5%. Compare the freight line on a real checkout before you pay.

Is iTaoBuy's 10% bigger than HooBuy's fee?

On paper, yes: 10% against the 8% in HooBuy's registration agreement, which sits next to two help articles saying there is no service fee. On a ¥180 example item that is ¥18.00 against ¥14.40, a gap of ¥3.60, about €0.52 at HooBuy's rate. Neither figure is confirmed as charged until a checkout shows it.

What does iTaoBuy do with items stored past its window?

Its terms say storage is 90 days from the Stored status, and goods are destroyed 30 days after the storage period expires. Our 5 October notes showed 90 versus 60 days from third-party sources, so the terms win. HooBuy also destroys goods after 90 days unless extended. Plan to ship inside 90 days at either agent, and screenshot the status.

Who runs iTaoBuy, and does it matter for a HooBuy refugee?

iTaoBuy's terms name Sell Good Things Technology Co., Limited, a UK company numbered 16174547 and registered in London. HooBuy's footer names HYPERLAB TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, also London. A registered name tells you who to write to, not how orders go. Judge iTaoBuy on a small paid order and its newest reviews, not on the filing.

Can I paste a HooBuy link straight into iTaoBuy?

No. A HooBuy link opens only inside HooBuy. Decode the digit and ID, rebuild the marketplace link, then paste that into iTaoBuy. A third-party converter shows iTaoBuy's pattern as itaobuy.com/product-detail?url= followed by the encoded marketplace address, which we have not confirmed on iTaoBuy's own pages.
