Hacoo is a shop with its own app, so its rows stay on Hacoo
Hacoo sells and ships under its own name. HooBuy buys from Chinese marketplaces for you, and its link format hoobuy.com/product/{0, 1 or 2}/{item ID} has digits only for 1688 (0), Taobao (1) and Weidian (2). A Hacoo link does not fit, and we found no agent in our notes that says it accepts one. A January 2026 third-party report says checkout is app-only. Google Play lists the developer as DOOP TECH LIMITED (Hong Kong); the Hacoo footer shows an address in Dublin 2, Ireland.
Many old sheets say Saramart, the earlier name. We could not date the rename, and saramart.com showed "We'll be back soon" on 6 October 2026. Our link converter works only for marketplace links.
A Hacoo row is bought on Hacoo; an agent route would need a different source for the same item.
Shipping: Hacoo's basic fee against HooBuy's estimator
Hacoo's fee table (read 6 October 2026) lists a basic fee per country under 3 kg and $5 more per 0.5 kg above that. HooBuy's quotes are its estimator lines on 26 October 2026, weight only, no dimensions.

For Germany, the 1,000 g gap is €14.21 − €4.99 = €9.22. HooBuy's help centre adds 2–10 days for an item to reach its warehouse. HooBuy's own spread puts 79.21% of Germany parcels at 8–15 days on package-f1, its statistic and unverified. Our HooBuy shipping page has every line.

The scores match; the behaviour behind them does not. HooBuy sits on Hold on this site, after reviewers reported paid orders stuck at Purchased and refunds not arriving between June and September 2026 (see HooBuy status). Hacoo's reply rate shows it answers reviews, not how complaints end. Your side of any return is on HooBuy refunds and returns.
Hacoo's return rules are easier to read than HooBuy's, which contradict each other.
Duty on a Hacoo parcel to Germany, the US and Brazil
Hacoo's basic fee is shipping only. Since 1 July 2026 the EU charges a temporary €3 per tariff category on parcels up to €150, plus VAT from the first euro (Germany 19%, Italy 22%, France 20%), until 1 July 2028. A Hacoo basket of tops, trousers and a jacket can be three categories, which is €9, never "€3 per item". The US ended its duty-free threshold for all countries on 29 August 2025. Brazil taxes by platform certification (see the last FAQ). None of this changes with the agent, and HooBuy's pages do not say how it handles the EU duty; see shipping to Germany.
Add the €3 per category and VAT to Hacoo's €4.99 before comparing totals.
When a Hacoo row hides a Taobao or Weidian item
If a sheet's photos match a listing on Taobao or Weidian, you can search that seller and move the row. Take the marketplace and item ID, rebuild the link, and compare price, size table and photos before paying. What HooBuy buyers ask
Is Hacoo's basic shipping fee cheaper than a HooBuy parcel to Germany?
Yes, for the shipping line alone. Hacoo's fee table lists €4.99 for Germany, Italy and France under 3 kg. HooBuy's estimator quoted €14.21 for 1,000 g to Germany and €28.42 for 2,000 g on 26 October 2026, weight only. HooBuy's figure excludes the item, a declaration generally ¥8 and any service fee, so the gap in practice is wider.
Does the same 3.7 Trustpilot score mean Hacoo and HooBuy carry the same risk?
No. The scores match, but the profiles differ. Hacoo had 3,370 reviews on 5 October 2026 and replied to 99% of negative ones. HooBuy had 571 reviews on 26 October, 29% one-star, and replied to 4% of negative ones, and it answered none of 30 Reclame Aqui complaints from April to September 2026. That is why HooBuy carries our Hold label.
What does a Hacoo return cost me?
Hacoo accepts returns within 15 days of receipt for unworn items with tags, and the buyer pays return postage on no-reason returns, according to its refund policy read on 6 October 2026. Hacoo pays when an item is defective or wrong. Underwear and cosmetics cannot be returned. Refunds take 5–7 days to PayPal and 8–15 working days to a card.
Is a Saramart row the same as a Hacoo row?
We could not confirm it. Hacoo's Android package is still named com.saramart.android and saramart.com showed "We'll be back soon" when we looked, but the date of the rename is not determinable from the archive captures we found. Treat an old Saramart link as unverified, search the title inside the Hacoo app, and do not expect an agent to open it.
Who pays customs on a Hacoo parcel to Brazil?
The recipient does, as with any parcel. Since 12 May 2026 the federal tax is 0% up to US$50 through platforms certified in Remessa Conforme, 60% less US$30 above that, and 60% with no deduction outside the programme, plus ICMS of 17%–20% by state. We could not verify Hacoo's certification, so check Receita Federal's list before ordering, and keep the CPF tax ID ready.
